I just took Butcher out for his first official (very short) walk. We only made it to the house next door, because a) it's coooold out and b) he didn't like going where I wanted to go, and preferred to sniff at dog poo and the neighbor's porch. And now he's whining to go out again. Part of me wonders what would happen if I did let him go out; part of me is too scared to try it. I mean, he does have a collar and tag... but what if he got hurt? We live on a very busy street, and there are dogs walked by all the time...

Next time I'll take him out back, walk him around the parking lot. Little bit safer, anyway.

I don't want to do much today, but I should clear the dishes out if I'm going to cook dinner tonight. And I have that reading to finish up for the Bizzle. And I should tidy my desk. Wheeee.

This is not, in fact, Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. xD This is Jack Carter, the sheriff from Eureka. He's delightfully stupid compared to the rest of the town, but he's got more common sense than most of them, and he's good at figuring things out. Also, he's adorable a lot.
