femmealunettes: (mouse-colored dressing gown : Holmes)
I had a really bizarre and unsettling dream about a moving-in-to-Wells party turning out to be a front for all kinds of animal experimentation, and when I tried to save a tank full of rats I got caught up in a plot to try and save the life of some pregrnant heiress by sneaking her onto a boat and sailing to Ithaca and we all died in the end anyways. Oops?

Then I woke up to find out that my computer had restarted itself to install some updates and I hadn't saved what I was writing, so now it's gone. I really fucking HATE that about Windows 7. At least XP waited for my say-so to restart itself. 7 just goes ahead and does it and that pisses me off.

So it looks like I have some personal writing to try to recreate on top of whatever else I've got to do. :(

At least I'm well-rested.

When you see this message, post in your journal with your favorite Season 5 SPN quote.

Let me tell you something, there are two things I know for certain; one, Bert and Ernie are gay. Two, you are not gonna die a virgin. Not on my watch. Let's go.

the characters are all fictional

I just finished watching The Darjeeling Limited.

I don't know where it fits on my continuum of Wes Anderson movies. I really genuinely enjoy each one I've seen, and I've considered each one a favorite in its own time. I think my new favorite is The Fantastic Mr. Fox, even though it's not live-action, because it was really honestly brilliant and hello, adaptation of a Roald Dahl book, that automatically gives it bonus points. I love Richie and Margot in The Royal Tenenbaums, and I love most everything about The Life Aquatic, I don't know a single nerd who doesn't love Rushmore, and I think I loved about 85% of The Darjeeling Limited unconditionally and the other 15 percent with some reservations.

Also, isn't it weird how you can think an actor is unattractive until you see them in one certain role? I spent most of this movie wondering when exactly Adrien Brody became lickable to me, because I never really saw it before.

Now I have two hours until Supernatural and I need to do four discussion posts in those two hours. I have a lot of reading to do...

Swan Song )

so basically, I'm glad there's going to be a season 6, but I don't know how much of it I'm going to watch, because honestly I don't trust the writers enough to bring the show back to interesting from where they left it tonight.

In GOOD TV news, Chuck has been picked up for a 13 episode fourth season!
