(no subject)

I just finished watching Juno.

...I didn't really like it. :/ I had the same reaction to it that I had to Napoleon Dynamite, actually.

Still, that last frame would make a really pretty icon.

eta: Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson got married today. Good for them! I hope it lasts. It'd be nice to see a stable celebrity marriage. xD

Also, my stir-fry turned out delicious.

Yeah, I wasn't wowed by either movies either. I think the hype alone was enough to kill it.

But.. but.. she said, "BLEEEH I AM A KRAKEN FROM THE SEA!!"

Seriously, I think it's fantastic, but I'm clearly a sap.

Well, parts of it were better than others. And I really did "awww" over the whole Juno-realizing-that-homeboy-is-The-One thing. But mostly, it was just trying so, so hard to be Indie and Quirky and Offbeat that it bothered me.

I liked Jason Bateman's character the most, I think, and he wasn't even in the end of the movie. v.v;

Trying too hard to be indie, I can buy that. I guess I don't pay much attention to the 'indie' 'status' of films... Same kind of reason I'm ok with movies that are departures from their original book form, as long as the movie is neat, if that makes any sense at all.
