technical difficulties

My problem with tabs is, I tend to collect them. I open them up and think "I'll come back and comment to this" or "I'll read this later" or "I'll add that to my Delicious in a few minutes" and then I don't, and they pile up, and then my browser crashes and I lose them all and I forget what I was doing anyway.

...this is by way of saying, if you posted the made-up memories meme and I haven't come up with one for you yet, drop me the link and I will do that, and I solemnly swear not to put it off again.

I am imposing a limit on myself. No more than ten tabs open at a time! If I want to open more than that, I must close some. This is da rules.

Let's see how long that particular resolution lasts...

I imagine it's a problem endemic to anyone who pairs the geek class with the pack rat attribute... we have a high chance of botching our saving throws.

if you don't have the firefox addons "session saver" and "lazarus", get them stat! session saver saves all your tabs, and lazarus remembers everything you type into any text field in firefox. so like i'm typing this comment, and if firefox crashed, session saver would remember that i had this page open, and lazarus would recover everything i've typed in this comment box. :D

I have both of those... the issue there is that I started using Google Chrome because it runs much more efficiently (like, I can't watch a video and have Firefox running... or pretty much do anything else with Firefox running, honestly) so every time it happens I think "Damn, I should go back to Firefox!" and I never do.

So basically, I fail my geek saving throw.

How do I send you the link to my made up memory?

For you, it's probably just easier that I go to your journal to find it. xD

Dont you mean your journal? I wrote the memory about us in your journal.

My guess: not very long. :)

Yeah, it's already broken. I can't keep under 10 tabs while I'm going back through my flist, opening everything interesting into its own tab is just how I roll...
