dress me up

Okay, Livejournalland, help me pick out my new dress. I'm really not sold on the black one (it's the fact that it ties behind the neck, I think, it's just not a comfortable style for me), so I'm going to return it and get another one of the empire-waisted ones like the grey one.

What color should I get? I'm leaning toward Blue Lotus, but... so much of my wardrobe is grey and blue, maybe I should do something different? I don't know, what do you guys think? I won't wear yellow, but any of the other colors might do.

I would go with key lime or the melon color - your hair color + your fair skin would light greens really work for you. :)

Though I'm a tried & true little black dress girl, too. Black always looks good, & you can pair it with colored shoes & colored sweater. :-P

I'm really considering buying that melon color for myself, but I don't know how you feel about that one. The turquoise or the lotus blue, too-- can't go wrong with blues, I feel.
