For some reason, the first thing I wanted to do today was make icons from Quarantine. Oh, SGA, sometimes you sneak out of nowhere and assault me with awesomeness. I don't even know where to post them... I might slap them up on
drive_thru_rx, I used to use that journal for icons and wallpapers when I was proud of my lack of Photoshop skillz.
It's too noisy to watch a movie with the dryer going, so I am going to enact a strict policy of 'let's do the noisy cleaning tasks and then enjoy the quiet and clean for movie time'. Also, popcorn. Hell yes.
I don't know what happened to that book I bought about making your own sode, which is lame because I knew where it was for maybe two whole days. What the hell, house, you're not supposed to eat things that quickly... I will find it eventually, but I may need spelunking equipment.
The never-dripping bottles. That's a pretty sweet design. I don't think they're actually being produced, but still: excellent blend of form and function. Pretty.
"I am a Host at the Olive Garden". A very short series of very funny comics. xD I like the art style, too.
GODWIN'D. German academic compares Tom Cruise to Goebbels, millions of internet users race to be the first to make overused Nazi cliches on their respective social news networking forums.
Life After People premieres tonight at 9pm on the History Channel, and you bet your booty I'm going to be watching it. This should be interesting-- I wonder how they're going to handle it, as a straight "no more humans, this is what happens" or "here are several scenarios for the extinction of mankind, and these would be their effects on the earth" sort of deal. I'll find out in nine hours!
eta: So I finished sewing up the part of the couch Butcher likes clawing up, and it looks good. \o/ I feel all Ms. Fix-it. Next time I try to put a needle through upholstery, I'm going to remember to get a thimble, though. My fingertips are all pissed off. xD
