ThinkGeek sent out their little update and I was blindsided by two pieces of awesome:

A Super Mario chess set, how cool is this? I know exactly who this would make an ideal birthday present for, and his birthday is later this month, too. Plus I didn't get him anything last year in the midst of moving to Auburn confusion... man, I miss George. But anyway, yeah, this is awesome. Luigi is the queen, and Daisy and Peach are the bishops, which made me snicker.

The DIY D20 handbag, which I would totally use all the time if I actually made it, because that's so delightfully nerdy. xD I do think that for thirty bucks you should be able to buy an already-assembled one, but that's my lazy talking.

The Mountain Goats were on Stephen Colbert last night. I just caught the rerun thanks to my dad. John Darnielle is cheek-pinchable.
