AAAAAAH REN FAIRE

AWESOME

Okay so I have never actually been to a renaissance faire before today, so I had no idea what to expect. IT WAS SO COOL. Julia and Rachael decided not to come, so it was just me and my parents all day. We saw a silent comic (HIlarious), a dunking (well, several dunkings in the guise of a trial, lol. the evil sheriff's evil son: lickably cute), Midsummer Night's Dream with just the fairy and actors storylines (they did the lovers on a different stage later), falconry (omg, eagle owls are HUGE and COOL), and a silent act with two washerwomen at a well (my parents saw it before and it wasn't silent, they said this version was lame and it kind of was). Also, most of the roaming food vendors were a) very cute, b) very loudly making innuendos about their wares, or c) both.

In between all the acts, there was wandering. SO MANY SHOPS SO LITTLE TIME/MONEY. I could have maxed out a credit card there, good thing I don't have one. xD In the end, I left with one tiny lavender pouch to keep my purse smelling nice, a sweet blue hat with silver trim and feathers on one side, and a simple but gorgeous blue dress that fits me like a glove and makes my ass look FANTASTIC. :D I came about this close [--] to getting a tarot reading but I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't have been able to get my hat and the hat is way better.

I probably shouldn't but I am taking a nap because, whoa, 8 hours mostly on my feet in the sun being all excited is tiring. xD

eeeeeee I totally want to do that again this time in my sweet renfaire garb so I can hit up that actor for ye olde facebook page url. You know, among other reasons. >.>

What I Did For Valentine's Day:

12 Heroes ficlets, collectively 4365 words. Eleven different people, because [livejournal.com profile] cruiscin_lan is greedy but also because I'd never written Matt/Daphne/Ando before and I NEVER TURN DOWN A CHALLENGE, and one of them was at Tippy's post but I had an idea so I wrote it. They're all up on [livejournal.com profile] drive_thru_rx for those who are interested.

4365 words, plus 1870 for finishing my exchange fic, plus 800 for a Petrelli commentfic. 7035 words. In one day. Plus five or six awards banners.

I WAS FUCKING BUSY FOR A GIRL WHO ONLY GOT THREE HOURS OF SLEEP IN THE PAST 38 HOURS

of course now I am on a xanax, which is making me nice and drowsy, and when I pop this lunesta I expect to sleep at least eight hours. I better.

But before I go: ANONYMOUS VALENTINES

*hugs* because I know how much you like a cuddle
My need for cuddles, they are endless! *hugs for nonny!*

At the risk of sounding creepy, it kinda feels like you're my internet soul-sister. (And now there are PILLOWS on the couch!)
YOU ARE SO CREEPY, VALENTINE. Just keep Pyramidhead away from me, okay? xD *kisskiss*

You are the best thing about my 2009 so far.
*_* I am so glad to be that person for someone. It's an honor to make someone's day, but this? Is like a big hug. ♥ I love you, whoever you are! xD

Last thing: Real zombies, run for the hills!

Bambi gonna fuck you up!

Whoaaaaaa!

A five-point buck just strolled from our left-hand neighbor's yard, around our fenced-in yard, and through the right-hand neighbor's yard. Just takin' it easy, walkin' by.

He was HUGE! \o/ That was so cool!

I. Last night. Just.

God, I LOVE serendipity.

So my brother asked me to go on a beer run, and as I was walking into E-Lane I was seen and cautiously identified-- and then Amber got out of the car and Derek realized that it was her so I had to be me and then told Amber we should come down the street to party.

When I heard this I just about flipped. I've missed Derek for like two years (and isn't that strange? that a year and a half goes by like that?) and now-- he's coming back, Concordia's fucking him on grants and he can't afford it, so he's coming back to finish his degree at PSU.

There's really nothing like seeing someone and just naturally going back to the way things used to be. He missed me too, and I spent most of the night practically attached to his hip. xD We played beer pong and lost, I met the friends he's staying with and some of their friends-- and the CUTEST chick named Hannah, she's actually shorter than I am! and she seems to also be a master of the shotguncrafting. She's adorable. And has a very nice rack. xD

And then Derek came back with me and we were both assaulted in the ears by my brother's too-loud, not-good music. Too many people in that house of a Friday night. And when we escaped upstairs it was one cockblock after another, but there was time enough between interruptions to make me feel sure that when Derek's back in town my relationship status (and sexual frustration status) is in for a change.

So now I have nibbles on my neck and my lips remember what kisses feel like and, basically, that was the best run-in at Express Lane that has ever happened.

Also, a hangover, but I'm going to take care of that in a minute, either with breakfast or more sleep but also definitely with painkillers. xD

Oh! Also: 300 was completely fucking awesome. I have nothing bad at all to say. It was brilliantly done, magnificently acted, and in general completely great.

My mom told me my dad said he opened my mail because I'm "still under twentyone and still his responsibility." She wouldn't stop asking, so I told her why Claire's is suing me for $75, and she seemed annoyed but... not surprised or upset at me, really. So that's okay, I guess. She's going to tell him, though, and he's going to be pissed. :/ So I get the slow clap from myself for being an arrogant idiot.

On the what you need front, Kristin and her mom have found their apartment. It's a small but nice two-bedroom dealie right next to the post office, and we spent most of the day scrubbing that bitch like no one's business. We still haven't even finished the kitchen xD; All the walls are dirty and need to be scrubbed before they can be painted; tomorrow is time for scrubbing lots and lots in the kitchen and living room, finishing out the cabinets, vacuuming the carpets, and moving in at the very least beds and a couch so they can move in ASAP. This came right when they needed it and it's a really good place for them, so we're all happy. :D I really want to get at least the living room all scrubbed tomorrow morning and maybe go get the paint around lunchtime. >_> I am totally fixated on painting this place, but I want it to be perfect for them! So I am a loser of the annoying kind. xD

Right now, though, I am... what's the term? Completely fuckin' worn out. So I'm going to bed early for a change.

Wow. For once, Western Civ didn't suck. Martin Luther came in and explained the point of his 95 Theses to us, and aside from the really heavy German accent, it made a lot of sense what he had to say.

And then in EnviroSci, we got to split atoms and put them back together. I actually turned lead into gold! Go me! Clearly I am the best alchemist ever, especially better than the dumbass who just kept splitting off hydrogen and couldn't do anything with it. SHEESH. How hard is it, seriously?

I thought it would be good to wear Red Queen for my daily BPAL. You know, funny and all, haha, right?

Some kid was looking at me strange, and I kind of glared at him and muttered "Off with his head" and it... fell off.

Not like bloody or anything, just... fell off.

I don't think anyone saw. I just walked away quick.

George Tyndall's car has taken up talking, and has not consented to let him drive it.

My mom's giving us a ride up to the school today.
