BPAL mega-sale post!

femmealunettes: (smells like a dork to me : Joe & Patrick)
At this point in my life, I can definitely use money more than smellies. Anything I make from this is going right into the bank (although I can't guarantee it won't go for Fall Out Boy tickets!), and if I can get my collection down to, say, a large cigar box instead of a small suitcase, that'd be cool too.

So this is what's the deal: all prices include shipping. Multiple purchases will be adjusted accordingly. PayPal is best, although I can work with other payment types if you need me to. All sales will be packaged with a possibly ridiculous amount of extras (candles, sniffies, tea, candy, little fun things) and will be shipped as soon as payment is received. My [livejournal.com profile] bpal_feedback post is here.

xD I found the Christmas cards I didn't send because I suck at mailing things. So anyone who's getting mail from me soon, those will be in them. (psst [livejournal.com profile] maggiesox and [livejournal.com profile] insomniac_tales: I obviously haven't mailed your packages yet, but what color tacky stretchy seed bead bracelet/necklace you want?)

I finished that story I was trying to, hooray! I'm not even going back to check the word count, I'm just glad to have it done. xD Now I have five left for one table and I will be done done done done and probably never write kink again. At least not for a few months.

ahahahaomgwhat. I just made my first eBay listing?!?! Now she ded from eBay. God I hope this sells, it's a really rare scent now and I would like lots of moneys for it... billz to pay, birthday shenanigans to get up to, you know how I do.

*flails around*

So I have to finish this thingy for [livejournal.com profile] mac_hearts_pc, and then I have one box to clean out or move or something and then my room is as clean as it's gonna get. Woo!

Holy balls, it's 1. I wanted to make a big picspam post cause I cleaned out my camera today, but it may have to wait unless I get a burst of energy.

I'm selling off a bunch of BPAL because... because I need money, basically, and if you read my journal with even the depth of a puddle then you know why. SO. I wanted to give people on my flist first crack at the list, because I know there's a few sniff-based fangirls out there. Here is the list, and there's also a bottle of Miskatonic University I'm going to put up on eBay unless someone makes a really convincing offer for it. And if you're on my flist, which anyone seeing this... is... okay yes, so if I know you you automatically get extra stuff in your boxes. Like candy or toys or extra imps. It's like a cracker jack box, but without the calories or sugar rush. Just surprises. (hint: if you have a wishlist or a favorite note, link/tell me. just in case.)

...so yes plz buy my stuff. *puppy eyes*

16 FRIMPS. And most of them I wanted to try, or already have bottles of so I can sell. SWEET.

Also those two partial bottles came in. Total BPAL haul today: 10 5ml bottles, 17 imps, because the partial-seller tossed in a frimp of omfg White Light. xD

I put on Blood Moon straight out of the shower and now I have BIG RED PATCHES on my neck and elbows. But not my wrists or behind my ears, oddly. (eta: It looks like I have hickies. I don't think I've had an honest-to-god hickie in like three years. But that's what this allergic reaction is looking like. xD)

Anyhow, no more Blood Moon right after scrubbing. I'll wait until I get, you know, that natural oil stuff back on my skin. Oh my god, Blood Moon is my unwashed hippie scent.

And I cut myself in the shower! But now my legs are all smooth and shit, and I have the cutest sushi bandaid on my ankle. Small price to pay to be ADORABLE.

And now Kristin and Amber and I are going to go take this whore of a town for all she's worth! Wooo!

...I should eat something before I start drinking. xD

Anyhoo, possible phone posts later, but if I don't see y'alls before tomorrow, Happy New Year, everyone. May 2006 bring you all of the joy and none of the disappointments of 2005. More joy, even. LOTS OF IT.

femmealunettes: (christmas!)
So I like it when I can look at a BPAL blend and *know* I won't like it, because it means I don't have to spend any money on it!

However, Holiday Moon's ugliness to my nose doesn't actually balance out, because they put up two Celestial blends and I got them both. >_> I'm so weak, they didn't list notes and I'm painfully curious.

That was the quickest order I ever put in, too, just click-click-autoform paid. xD

Aaaaand I had an awesome dream about Nick and Oliver, and yesterday I had a great dream about all my characters having a party. So my head is a fun place to be, and my nose will also be a fun place to be. :D

However, bellringing from 12 to 4 at Borders. Less fun. Bringing the Christmas playlist and some speakers, we'll see how painful it is today. (Not nearly as painful as it will be tomorrow, I can tell from here.)

femmealunettes: (you can't touch my brother : MCR)
Yesterday was just a freaking trip and a half, oh my god.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not sure if I lost my voice at all because I can't hear anything very clearly in the vocal range. Raindrops, sure, phones ringing, things falling, but you look at me and try to speak and I'm all trying to lipread because from my sister's voice to my dad's voice is all covered in ringing. (which, to reference, are the highest and lowest voices I have had a chance to not hear since leaving the concert. xD)

So where do I start. Um.

Yesterday was hectic to say the least, at work... Lots of people coming in, lots of vouchers and food pantry orders to fill. Busybusy. But Kristin and I still had time to poke about the backstories of our D&D characters, and omg have to play more. xD So excited about more playing. I'm actually kind of excited about, you know, not letting Noran die. I didn't care so much on Monday, but-- he's cute! I like him. And the 'fraternal banter' with Darrin is just too good to stop. xD

So that was that, and now... okay! After work. I got mail! All those empty imps I'd been waiting for, plus a sweet bonus bookmark because they were so late. It's very peratty, and OMFG [livejournal.com profile] himekokurai I CAN MAKE YOUR MISK. U DECANT FINALLY. (If I can find the package I had ready for you, now. -_-) AND ALSO. I got a package from the lovely [livejournal.com profile] vash_donutangel, oh my god, LUSH STUFF. *loves all over* Figs and Leaves and Sakura and omg! I can't wait to take a bath and use the hell out of that bomb. :3 And jesus, that sandalwood/satsuma orange/floral blend is delicious. SO MUCH THANK YOU. ♥♥

So it took a little while to get on the road, 4:30 instead of the 12:30 we'd been planning the day before, due to a big change in who was going. As it ended up, my dad drove Shell and Ai and I up to Montreal-- we got lost at the end of it, Mapquest forgot a street and I had to go into a gas station and ask the nice man behind the counter for directions in a halfassed blend of English and French. Finally we found the place, and the line was HUGE, and it was raining and I had left my hoodie in the car, and there was a group of teenaged girls behind us very loudly and badly singing MCR songs in Canadian accents. We kept warm by plotting their deaths. xD

The venue was awkward, a sports stadium-- rather, a tennis arena-- partitioned off into coatcheck and merch table and concessions and the actual audience area. The leading bands were okay, but god, I wish I'd thought to bring earplugs-- I think the first one was Circa Survive, and I kind of liked them even if the singer did dance like he was having a seizure. The second was Thrice, and... yeah, I kind of like their single, and the banner they had was definitely cool, but they are, um, better recorded. TOO GODDAMN LOUD.

Okay, we were standing maybe 15 or 20 feet from one of the speaker arrays. But still. The speakers were giving feedback because they were too loud. EXCESSIVE.

And then, god, the soundcheck for MCR was so long, I thought I would die. xD And then finally, the curtain dropped and it was just one long orgasm from then on. THE THINGS GERARD WAY DOES WITH HIS HIPS. I think he can only do that in Canada because it's got to be illegal in the US. The way he had the crowd wrapped around his little finger was just great. And they played all the songs I'd hoped they'd play-- not just the singles, but my favorites-- You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison, Give 'Em Hell, Kid, Hang 'Em High. And they played a new song, it was incredible, I cannot wait to hear whatever that gets put out on. (illegal bootleg download? anyone? plzkthx?)

And then, god, the encore. I'm Not Okay. I could barely sing along, I'd screamed myself so hoarse; I could barely jump, I'd jumped so much, but I did both for that song. xD And then a big explosion of shiny silver and red scraps, and they were done and gone.

We fought our way back to concessions and paid $10.75 for two cups of water and a cup of powerade. Cups, because they wouldn't give us bottles, even though we were leaving. I drank mine before we even found my dad in the car, which took way too long because we were deaf and I couldn't just call him and find where he was, I had to send lots of txt messages. xD So, so parched. Next time I go to concerts, I'm bringing earplugs and smuggled water. For reals.

We sold the extra ticket, since Julia didn't want to come and was pitching a bitch fit. Got $60 Canadian for it, so we each got a t-shirt. xD My very first tour shirt! And, um, stopped for sammiches and drinks at a gas station before heading home, which was a quiet ride because my dad was the only one who could hear. xD

So in short, JESUS CHRIST. My Chemical Romance puts on a great show, and Canadians are incredibly polite-- I don't even think I saw one successful mosh pit, and no deathly crush of bodies. And less smoking than at the Hammerstein. xD So, um, six thumbs up, and now I'm going to go puncture my eardrums to get this ringing to stop! :D

today, by numbers.

femmealunettes: (you get a thumbs-up.)
$116 on one that I shouldn't, to get seven.

1 plus 18 makes 19 altogether.

2000 in one day, but only 780 for November...

T-minus 36 hours and counting.

...or, rationally put:

I spent $116 on BPAL, and I had to put it on the Credit Card I'm Not Supposed To Use. Given, one of the bottles is for Shell, but that's still six bottles for me. @_@ (Snow Moon, Pink Phoenix, Three Witches, Stardust, The Bow and Crown of Conquest, and The City in the Sea, omfg!)

I made a new character. >_> Played by Jason Dohring. And he's French-Canadian! And he has a fraternal twin. Played by Teddy Dunn. *ded* So now I'm up to 19.

Yesterday I wrote 2000 words in ficlets, but [livejournal.com profile] notfornano hasn't been touched since November 1. I? kind of lose, but I'd rather write for my friends anyhow.

36 hours from now, I will be on a train going to New York City. *SPAZ* I still have to pack: one change of clothes, one charger for iPod, one charger for cell phone, one toothbrush, one hairbrush, three gift packages of assorted size and contents, one DVD, one scarf, one box of BPAL and assorted smaller boxes, one pair of sexy silk Chucks. I cannot forget. (things I do not need: one coat, highs in the 50s and lows above freezing = hoodie/blazer will be adequate; one computer, will hijack Ai's new one periodically; blankets/pillows.)

orgies of smelling!

  • Nov. 15th, 2005 at 9:22 AM
femmealunettes: (smellies! : black phoenix alchemy lab)
So I stayed up until 3 a.m., trying to catch the BPAL update, and it ended up going up at 4:30 EST. Well, fuck, I wasn't staying up that late, but when I woke up I suddenly had like $80 in orgiastic spending to do. They brought back Three Witches, I'm practically wetting myself with excitement, like some kind of old dog. Oh my god, and a set of Muses? Are those new? I don't remember those, oh god, so much lust. Calliope, Clio, Euterpe, AAAAH MELPOMENE, these were discontinued, weren't they? Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Thaelia, I can wear all but two of the muses! *WRITHE* And oh my god, they did a set on the Four Horsemen. I LOVE BPAL.

The only thing is, do I do a big order now, while Snow Moon is up? Or do I wait, and- no, okay, I just got a new credit card, I can totally make the order now and get it maybe in time for Christmas. >_> Which is probably a really bad idea, but... *unfs the LEs* Pink Phoenix! And THREE FREAKING WITCHES.

Okay. Calm. Woo. *breathes* I just cannot spend more than $100, I can pay off $100 by the end of December, I'm fairly certain.

In non-BPAL news, it's due to snow today. Right now it's just grey, and rainy, and cold; birds are falling onto the grass in front of the doors, settling and then taking off again. I showered an hour ago and my hair isn't dry yet, damply curling around my face, and I love my hair when it's like this.

Yesterday my cat got spayed, and this morning she was flopped on a chair, looking up slow at me when I came over to scratch her under the chin, and just let me without moving or making any kind of sound. Poor baby, she's so sad and tired-looking and she hasn't been allowed to eat in like two days.

Today my brother and his best friend and I are going to the mall. I have a definite feeling of foreboding; these boys make each other stupid sometimes. Also today Kristin is getting her wisdom teeth out; I had mine out right around this time last year, and it sucked hardcore, so I have to do something horribly nice for her and it's probably going to involve writing. xD

It's only 10:10 and I feel great. :D Ow, okay, amended, I feel mostly great except for the finger that just got chewed on by the tape dispenser. x.x But still, WOO for today.

I really, really hope an XXL babydoll will fit over my boobs. Because it's very late, and I'm an impulse shopper like you wouldn't believe, and it's CUTE, dammit.

Can I just sign over my soul to BPAL and not have to use a credit card any more?

femmealunettes: (let him take the shot : Jarhead)
I'm... really out of it. I need to finish something. A book, a log, a thread, hell, finishing a thought would be nice. I'm just. So, so out of it. I can't think at all.

Making icons, though. Or finding new ones. This one's Jarhead, which I never reviewed but it's an excellent movie; I ended up buying the book but I can't start it until I finish one. (I really need to finish Dharma Bums so I can take it back to the library.) I'm finding a bunch of Closer icons; trying to replace some of my older ones with things I love now.

The blazer/hoodie I got? Is eerily like what Loki wears in Dogma. I'd do the angel of death if he looked like Matt Damon, for serious.

Um, found out that the empty imps I've been expecting haven't even been mailed yet; the lady's sending them tomorrow, so hopefully they'll be here by the time I leave for NYC. Which, by the way: EIGHT DAYS OMG. I got my train tickets in the mail Monday; Julia and I shouldn't even have to check our luggage, hopefully. (One suitcase apiece, plus a backpack each. Purses don't count in carryon, so I think we'll be okay.) I'm nervous, a little; I've never been on a train before. Only subways. Nervous but excited.

Today I went out with my little brother and his best friend to smoke a blunt. George rolled a very tight, very sweet little honey blunt, and we clammed his car, and it was very nice and I got very very stoned. My brother and his friends are good people, and it's really nice to be able to relax with chill people.

Also today, my father's friend wrecked out van. So we're working out of a rented minivan for the beginning of kettle season, or until the van can get repaired, at least. Am I the only one who wouldn't feel safe riding in a van that's been hit twice? Bleh.

Have to work in the morning. Note to self, get a gift bag from the Hallmark room. Also note to self, you're a douchebag, go to sleep earlier, you fool.

I am getting so brassy at the mall it's not even funny anymore.

But hey, I have a HOT new shirt with David Bowie on it, and an awesome hoodie/blazer combo thingy. HOT.

Also, BPAL lab order came in today: a bunch of imps I'm totally pleased with, and Blood Moon, which OH MY GOD NOSEGASM. Blood Moon = new favorite Lunacy blend, why did I only order one bottle, need more now! *writhe* It's so woodsy and feral and sexy. Unf.

And, um, I kind of ended up with an American Eagle credit card today. >_> Oh snap, I suck. I'm never going to use it, of course, I'm going to pay it off and hold it for an utter emergency and then cut it up when it expires. But, omg, I couldn't help it, the guy behind the counter was hot and I just had to say yes. >_> Also my little brother's friend, a total sweetie I went to high school with (she's in his grade, I think she's at Clinton Community with him?), is all "hey! omg I'll hook you up with family and friends discount come back soon! ♥" and I was all "awwwww" and stole her a Christmas gift from Bath and Body Works. xD

(guilty, guilty admission: AE is actually a cool store. omg I didn't say it.)

And now, oh god, new 360! Anderson looks SO good all surrounded in blue, the new color scheme flatters him SO well. Mmm. Andy.

Mkay going to do some writing now. Sleeping in tomorrow because no work, woooo!

the plan:

  • Nov. 1st, 2005 at 4:10 PM
femmealunettes: (smellies! : black phoenix alchemy lab)
for the month of November I will allow myself a bottle of BPAL every 15,000 words I write. (imps possibly every 5,000.) So if I'm not on track by Snow Moon, I'm not ordering it.

You guys, I was just visited by the Imp Fairy.

The Imp Fairy visits good little BPAL addicts and leaves strange imps lying around in return for generously gifting friends with imps.

I just made up three packages, two to mail and one to hand-deliver, tomorrow, with a total of like four gift imps in them. And on the floor, just as I'm about to go to bed, was lying an imp I had never seen before in my life, I swear it.

Aveda Rose Absolute. It's nice, very very pure rose, nothing at all like Two Five and Seven.

But, you know, WHERE THE HELL DID IT COME FROM. ZOMG. @_@

But instead of saying "oh shit I forgot to go to college" it'll say "oh shit I forgot to update LJ".

LJ mood: neglected. xD

So I sent packages today, imps and stuff, I got a box (omg, love BPAL, smoky resiny spicy scents LOVE), put together half of a couple of packages ([livejournal.com profile] ciara_belle, yours is almost done; [livejournal.com profile] arti_absinthium, I need to get a bag to put yours in; [livejournal.com profile] maggiesox, still want one?)..

I went to this thing with my mom, and kind of slept through it, but she was glad I went anyway. I like spending time with my mom, even though it makes me sad that she thinks I'm the only one of her kids (thinks? knows) that respects her. I love her more than I tell her, but I should. Tell her more, I mean. I'm trying.

today was again lost to the altar of RP. seriously this is getting silly. but, you know, I can never ever stop. xD

k, bed now.
femmealunettes: (smile! : The O.C.)
So, this may be a longshot, but does anyone want a superduper awesome special gift basket type thing from Kristin and I?

$5 plus shipping. (Shipping is $2, so $7 all together.)

And you'll get!

* A Tutti Dolci lip gloss (value $10) in your choice of yummy flavors! (These taste SO GOOD. I have the Apple Torta and I want to EAT MY LIPS OFF. The Tiramisu is like ESPRESSO ON MY MOUTH.) The flavors we have are: Amaretti, Apple Torta, Tiramisu Veneziano, Sugar Wafer, and Chocolate Fondue.
* A couple of tealight candles (value.. uh, I dunno, they came in packs) in your choice of scents! Island mango, lilac blossom, spiced pumpkin, mandarin cranberry, or macintosh apple.
* Really cute bracelet! (value around $2)
* And WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE?! WE ARE *CRAZY*, you might get mints or BPAL or stuffed creatures or WHO KNOWS?! (Personally, I'm planning on adding pins!)

We accept paypal.

And need money because we're poor. Please? It'll be worth it. We promise.

First, the "how well do you know your friends" quiz:

You have a total of 108 friends
You requested to guess 108 entries.
5 were skipped due to invalid content (surprising?).
You made 103 guesses.
You got 94 correct.
Doing the math for you, that means you got 91% correct

I would have done better if more of you weren't lame and friends-only. :P Still, 91%, I guess I won't be needing to make any flist cuts anytime soon. xD

and the monster meme:

Deadly Anthropologist-Nabbing Investigator-Eating Lycanthrope from the Legendary Earth

And, holy crap, Kristin and I sold all but 3 of our imps. *_* No one wanted any of our lip gloss, though. But still, goddamn, we moved 19 imps in two and a half hours! :D WINNARS R UZ.

Color me delighted.

No, for real.

I slept for about 11 hours, woke up to INSANE amounts of BPAL (no, really insane: 4 bottles, 10 paid imps, and 8 frimps), and that thing I was worried about yesterday? Has resolved itself BEAUTIFULLY.

Also, my sisters found a cat, a cute little black and white darling with seven toes on each paw, and we've given her a flea bath and a collar and I'm not sneezing quite so much after handling her, and she purrs like a little motor if I so much as look at her sideways. And the dogs have stopped trying to lick her and she's stopped hissing at them. So we may have a new kitty, omg, I've wanted a kitty since I was little and never got one because my dad hates cats and I'm allergic.

And, god, I love it when RP things go better than I think they will. And new games, and rainy slow days, and brownies, and I smell really good, and this is so good.

I think I will finish putting away my clothes, go pet tha cat, and go to bed. :D
femmealunettes: (damn it feels good to be a gangsta)
I have been sleeping so well since I got that imp of Somnus and started using it. Just a dab on each wrist, and my dreams are calm and pleasant, and going to bed at 3:30 and waking up at 9 feels more like going to bed at midnight once I wake up. I feel great.
Guess what I'm getting a 5ml of next order. >_> In November, because "Beaver Moon" =/= appealing-sounding. Yeeeah.

Anyhow, I had a dream about shoplifting while I was at the store with my dad, except everything was in those big plastic blisterpacks so it was really hard. *_*; If I'm dreaming about this, maybe that's a bad sign...

Except I never told you guys about my amazing browncoat heist, did I? xD September 30th, about.... I don't know, an hour or so before Kristin and Amber and I saw Serenity, I stole a brown corduroy jacket from Old Navy. Made like I was trying it on, put on my hoodie over it, and walked out smooth as you please. That was a day of gigantic brass balls for the three musketeers, though; there were shirts and Chucks and lots of expensive chocolate also pulled, but my pride of the day was making sure I had a brown coat for Serenity. xD

Amber, I think, was the ballsiest; she got ink-tagged T--shirts and then removed the ink tags without getting it all over her shirts. AND got the new Family Guy DVD. Very, very moxious.

Although Kristin was very ballsy in her procurement of a CD and half of the pair of Chucks (I took the other half, but she orchestrated it all). I think we all had gigantic balls that day, honestly. Just really, really big ones.

To reiterate one last time: BALLS.

And while I was cleaning last night, I found Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which hey, I should send back to Netflix. I don't even know why I have the subscription anymore. Bleh. I'd say I'll watch it when I come home, but I'm actually watching lots of Doodlebops to clear off my DVR and then maybe some Firefly. *loves on the DVR*

Final point of order: I wanted to use my new Prison Break icon, but Guildenstern being gangsta' fits this post slightly better. :D
