Okay, so out of my 101 things in 1001 days list, I got 37 things done. Which is over one third! I didn't really think I was going to get more than that done.

But now that I know what is realistic, I am going to make another 101/1001 list, and maybe I will be able to finish half of that one.

And some of the things I did were really important, like quitting smoking, or really cool, like seeing the Mountain Goats three times, or really awesome, like getting my associate's degree and getting accepted to Wells. And some of the things I didn't quite finish, I got really close to, like I lost 20 pounds instead of 25, or I watched 170 movies instead of 200. So I did a good job.

So I'm going to take this list and bring the things I really want to do to the next one, and I will start my next 1001 days on November 1, if I can come up with a complete list by then.

So in 2006, I started a 101 things in 1001 days list. As of today, when I rediscovered it, I have completed 25 things.

I'm rewriting the list, saving some items, ditching others. In 1001 days from January 20, 2009, it will be October 18, 2011.

I'm not putting this list on GreatestJournal and forgetting about it. I'm going to put it on my original writing journal (because it pisses me off to have a forward-dated post at the top of my normal journal), linking it from my sidebar, and regularly checking it. This will only help me get things done, and I can present it to Lisa as some of my plans and goals for the future. :) I won't be able to put up all 101 right now-- I'm going to leave some openings at the end, because really, talking to my therapist will probably help me come up with some good items.

This is good. I can do this. It's a helpful, productive thing.

Yes, it is creepy sometimes to live across from a cemetery. Not because I'm scared of ghosts, just thinking about all those people quietly decomposing, oh, a hundred feet from where I lie sleeping. Not comfortable.

My sister asked me if she could borrow my iPod while I was asleep this morning. I'm glad I remembered that before I called Kelly's house all desperate and shit again. xD Like I don't lose things enough.

Today is packed with scheduling. And people have already started coming too early. Which, you know, more time for me to do shit I want to, but that's hectic when I only have one clipboard and there's three ladies here.

Speaking of having time to do things I want to do, I can only come up with 45 things for that 101 things in 1001 days challenge. Anyone want to make suggestions?

half-done list under here )

So, yeah. There's that.

I'm thinking of taking up the 101 things in 1001 days challenge. I'm going to make a list, and if I can make it past fifty things to put down I might actually finish the list and get started on it.

It's 9:30; I went to sleep at 3-ish and woke up at 7:15 this morning. So a fairly active morning and a pretty sedentary day have me ready to pass out already, and no one in my house seems to care. xD My little oddities are nothing compared to how Julia's behaving now.

Today was pretty weird, really. Mostly in the interesting and enjoyable way. Partly not so much.

Kristin is the best shop'ing wingman ever. xD
