I'm taking pictures at the various stages of dishwashing. I have just finished stage one: the right side of the sink, all but one of the pots, and some bowls. I have... oh, at least three more stages to go. Including, potentially, one which is entirely made of cutlery.

Snow count as of now: I'm gonna guess about two inches, maybe a little more. And it's still falling quick and steady.

I need a photographer to follow me around, because I mostly failed to take super cute pictures of myself and Butcher. Either that, or I need to be Mr. Fantastic and have a bendy arm to zoom out. xD

I live right next to the post office, so I am seriously considering making some of Calvin's demented snowpeople to screw with the townspeople. I don't think the landlord would approve, but... uh, so what, it's snow. Not the most lasting medium. Although, it does last pretty long around here...

I am four sex changes away from the Ladies and Gentlemen trophy at KoL. \o/ And less than two months from the pompadoured puppy. This is my game, dawgs. I still have eight levels until I'm at 30, when I get another trophy and can finally let myself to the next ascension... I'm thinking Seal Clubber so I can go permanent on dual-wielded weapons. I'm too lame to do any hardcore runs yet, but I will get skillz as I go on.

Next round, Dani vs. dishes. Ding ding!

eta 2:16: The dishes won. x.x Round two ended with no hot water left. At least I got the bowls done... and I have one clean spoon for hot chocolate in the morning.

So I'm going to bed, and I'll finish the dishes and post those pictures in the morning. And find out how snowed-in I am. :P

I got my two hours... and then maybe 15 minutes at a time, more like 10, more like "let me roll over and see if I fall asleep now... am I asleep? okay wait I'll roll over again... oh it's only been ten minutes"

and when I got up my computer had restarted itself. I hate that so much. then again it was probably time, it's been on nonstop for... quite a while.

I'm too scared to look outside, too. :/

I'm awake now. But I'm not sure how long after my appointment I will still be awake. I feel like I've been repeatedly punched in the head. :/

I know I'm joining late in the game, but... hey, whatever.

Walking in the snow... D: D: D:

\o/ Today pretty much rocks.

I had to do a lot of walking around in the snow, but: SO WORTH IT. I stopped in at A Different Blend between places and ended up staying like an hour. :D And the owner (I feel like an ass but I can never remember his name... and I'm pretty sure he can't remember mine either) made a deal with me: if I wash dishes and help out with odd jobs, I get free drinks. :D :D :D And in the spring when people start coming in for shakes again, I can work there part time. :D :D :D I'm going to be a milkshake girl!

Now I'm going back out to the Cornerstone to trade some books in, hopefully. And then back to ADB to finish the dishes, because I ran out of hot water, lolz.

Continued rockage.

I went to the Cornerstone and got $27 in trade for a whole bunch of books-- only two rejected, which I left in the "free books" bin. And I got two books, The Cat Who Walks Through Walls and Earth is Room Enough, so I'm getting my old-school sci-fi on. \m/,

Then I went back to A Different Blend. The guy's name is Robin, which I will now never forget. Even though he is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the Boy Wonder. xD I finished the dishes and got another free shake, because I am enthusiastic and willing to help. :D

And I bought myself a violet from the flower shop. Screw roses, the violet will last longer and it's less expensive. It might be easier to keep one plant alive than ignore four of them. I just have to find a safe place from kitty claws.

Now, I read some fic, then settle down in bed with some Asimov and some gummi dinosaurs. Awesome.

Tonight: cupcakery. I will probably bring one to Dr. Gitlin, and Becky in the office, and maybe one for Mr. Dr. Gitlin too. And then a couple to A Different Blend to show off and share. xD

Wow, it's not even 7 yet. Because I woke up at ass a.m. this morning, today feels like it's been so full! And really, it has been.
