has I been a twit today?

  • 07:46 I don't know what it is about me, but every morning I wake up and Xena and Sadie have invaded. Oreo is the only one I am not a magnet for? #
  • 13:36 My computer acting weird in a poorly-functioning way makes me incredibly sad. :( It does encourage me to delete programs and addons... #
  • 16:09 Why a fifteen year old needs multiple brand-name purses is beyond me. So, so spoiled. #
  • 18:18 I wish there was something I could do to help my mom be less stressed. Aside from mailing one of my sisters to Africa. #
o hai, dis haz bn LoudTwitter

Well, iTunes is still freaking out occasionally, but the rest of my computer issues seem fixed, so... yay.

It is rainy as hell out, and Julia was like "go walk to the store and get cigs! comeoncomeoncomeon!" This is why I'm trying to quit: Neither rain nor snow nor dead of night seem like good conditions for cigarette-buying walks. Add cold onto that, and I could quit, uh... today. Except it's a calming habit, but I really don't need too much calming... okay, sometimes I do, this house can get kind of... screamy sometimes.

Anyhow. I had a dream that I heard Kristin died, and I was sad that the last thing she said to me was basically "fuck off"... and then I had another dream about adopting lots of cats! I named them Spencer and Garcia and Gabriel and Micah. They were totally adorable and cuddly. And we were in a big room with a wall full of windows and a big-ass comfy couch. So, obviously, that made things much better.

I believe I've made this point before, and it's not mine to begin with, but: all of this touchscreen voting bullshit? We have ATMs all over the country. If they didn't work perfectly, people would flip shit. Maybe we should get an ATM company to make our voting machines! Buttons are more reliable than touchscreens, plus a paper printout would be able to verify the records, if there were something fishy about the totals. Yes? Come on.

Anyhow. Visit to the mall, part deux: two teenagers, no time limit. ohgod this could be painful.

are you in or are you out?

I am very pleased with the mall trip today. Despite the fact that I feel weird hanging out with teenagers, still. They say I don't look that much older, but I feel like people are giving me the "you pervert" stinkeye. >>

Still! New books, a delicious new candle, AND NEW CROSSWORD PUZZLES FUCKING YEAH! I've been running out of non-impossible-for-me ones. Seriously, the Puzzlemaster's Choice book? WAY beyond my level.

Mom and I watched up to Run! today. omg, roadtrip time! Zane!Sylar = endless amusement for me. Also, ogling Zach Quinto in the layered shirts, mm yes plz.

Today the Heroes Anon Kink Meme went de-anon. I actually fessed up to all of them, even the three I haven't quite finished and the one that I wasn't sure about admitting to... too late now! xD Seriously, that was so ridiculously fun. Even though no one fulfilled my three prompts. D: No love for Hiro/Ando, laaaaame.

I got an application for Tuxedo Express while I was at the mall. Putting men into suits = dream job Y/Y? I think I might be the first woman who's asked for an application, the guy goggled a bit before he handed it to me. xD And now I have a reason to re-learn how to do a Windsor knot...

Julia pre-ordered Guitar Hero and my dad is like "wtf, you think I'm paying for that?" But my mom is probably being suckered into it. I can't complain, I am going to rock my face off when we get it. xD I'm just sad that my wireless guitar is somewhere in Plattsburgh still.

My poor mom has to preach and do a funeral tomorrow. :( She's being run ragged.

Oh, oh, talking about family. There are the same number of people and pets in the house, so this is how I think we compare:
My mom is Oreo. She's out of the house running things, and when she comes back she just wants to get some rest before she's back out there.
My dad is Heather Ratface. Eats, sleeps, occasionally gets out and runs around, but mostly stays in one place.
Julia is Sadie. Can be cute and affectionate, but you never know when she'll decide to bite your face off.
Rachael is Xena. Health problems, attention-needy, but mostly cheerful.
And I, of course, have the most in common with my Butcher-baby: sporadic bursts of energy punctuated by lots and lots of naps, sort of standoffish, likes to hide, playful in a slightly mean way sometimes.

...oh, and the fish. Fish don't count, it's just a dumb betta. xD I don't even know its name.

I need more icons. I have a whole ton of Sylar and not enough of the other Heroes. Specifically, I need more Noah, Hiro, Matt, and maybe Daphne. And the Turtle! High-five, Turtle!
