I wish I could say "I can't believe it's been three days since I posted" but, uh... nothing happens to me, so.

Oh no, wait, I was going to post on Friday but I forgot about the entry and shut down my computer and Semagic with it. Friday, Friday...

Friday I went to visit Carrie in the nursing home. She was there this time, so that was good. xD She was sleeping when I walked in but woke up on her own a few minutes later. She didn't want to go outside, so I sat on the edge of her bed and talked to her. She answered my questions sometimes, but mostly just smiled and nodded or shook her head. About halfway through my visit the fire alarm went off, and I realized something I hadn't really thought about before... in a multi-story home where most of the residents are wheelchair-bound, there is no good way to evacuate them. Every room's door is kind of a fire door, and there are plenty of actual fire doors in the halls, but still... kind of scary to realize that.

I think I also went for ice cream? Yeah, with Julia and Mom. Mmmm, panda paws ice cream for the win.

Today Julia and I went to see Star Trek. Julia has a total crush on Chekov now. xD I was just... still so filled with squee. Even the shots of the Enterprise made me feel so awed although I'd seen them before. I really don't think it will ever get boring to watch the ship come out of the dust around Saturn. (cars, pht. that is one sexy starship.)

I've really been letting the cleanliness level of my room fall. If I were a sim, this room would make me unhappy. I need to do laundry and pick up and as much as I love this computer chair, I have got to find some better way to arrange the rest of my room now that my bed is moved.

But I will leave that for tomorrow because I'm tired now. ♥
