My mom is being ambitious, which means I have to do a lot of work. Ha.

Does anyone know much about VHS to DVD transfer? What equipment I'd need, how easy or hard it is? I'm definitely not anticipating it to be easy enough that she can do it on her own but it would be nice if I could do it without screwing up too badly. xD


I wonder how long it will take before making a joke using "abort/retry/fail?" gets more blank stares than it does laughs. I don't think my sisters would get it...

Okay, I have a metric ton of fic to comment on, so I'm going to waste time with a meme. xD And stop trying to think of original things to say.

Unlucky for me that I'm not a big fan of Austen or Dickens, I could have broke 40. xD Oh well. I do much better than this in top 100 sci-fi books lists... and speaking of which, I would most definitely replace one of those doubled choices with Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut.

It started raining kind of heavily, after I'd been waiting for it ALL DAY, and what does the cat do? He sits on the stool outside the window, not coming in, just sniffing at my hand when I pushed the screen open for him.

Today has been full of fanfic. Tomorrow I have to finish something, then Monday I have to have a fanmix ready... :x And I have a couple of photomanips to make that are going to be problematic. NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER. I'm gonna manip the fuck out of those photos. (or, possibly, into those photos.)

It's sad that I can read fanfic all day but not focus on a book for ten minutes at a time... v.v;; oh well, I'm going back to trying to read anyhow.
