Because I am so confident in my knowledge of music, ask me about 5 of your favorite bands, and make me list my favorite songs by each of them and why, but the catch is you must post this in your journal too! You know you want to! Make it so!
Class now. Staying awake for Abnormal Psych is a Sisyphean task, it just doesn't get any easier as he goes on...

I'm supposed to compare how I rate myself to how others rate me. So if you could, as a person who knows me, fill out this survey ABOUT ME, with 1 being "not applicable" and 7 being "completely applicable", that would be super and I would love you forever. Also, please include how well you think you know me (family, friend, acquaintance, internet only) so I can break the responses down into categories, because the more complicated I make it, the more extra credit I'll get! ;D

I also like personality tests, and because of my personality class I'm realizing that how I see myself is really not the same thing at all as how other people see me. Psychology Today had a really good article about just that, and it referenced YouJustGetMe.com, which is a nifty site created by people with PhDs and sciencey backgrounds, to show people the dissonance between their self-perception and how others see them. so of course I had to sign up and I expect you all to play with me. xD
I got my last textbook today, which is good. Now I just have to read the damn things, lol.
I also got a shiny new coffee maker, so now I can cancel that Gevalia membership. xD I can buy my coffee locally and cheaper, kthx. Now all I need is a good travel mug and I won't ever have to fall asleep in Abnormal Psych. And I won't have to buy the overpriced coffee at the student cafe.
Today for the very first time, I had venison stew and didn't think it was gross. I could only take being harrassed to eat it for so long before I gave in. It wasn't awful, so that's something.

STEPHEN TOBOLOWSKY, PEOPLE. xD Bob Bishop's secret passion for showtunes was the shame of the Company, y/y?
I pretty much hate Rachel like burning. And Terri, there is nothing LESS interesting to me than a pregnancy storyline. And I realize now that I cannot STAND the whole wide-eyed thing that Jayma Mays does, it was okay for two episodes of being Charlie but seriously I just want to hit the top of her head and see if her eyes pop out because it looks like they're about to. She looks like a freaking Bratz doll.
But considering that I don't like half the main cast, it's really compelling, and my cover-loving soul is just eating up all the music, so I guess I'll stick with it. xD That version of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" alone was too amazing to pass up. And I, like everyone else who saw it, got chills during "Don't Stop Believin'". Cause, DAMN. It almost makes me nostalgic for high school and my own young, hot chorus teacher, except I wasn't good enough to make any of the exclusive choirs.
...yeah, I'm still nostalgic for Mr. Verity though. He was scorching hot.

all parts of my Dell order have been shipped
I don't get why they used FedEx for one and UPS for another and I don't even know how they're sending the third but FLAIL OF JOY, MY SHIZZ IN THE MAIL, PERHAPS IT WILL COME THIS WEEKEND
*gleeful dance*
Also? I have enough data to make my extra credit now. 12 people did it, and it divides neatly into 4 family, 4 people I know in person, and 4 people I only know internets wise. DATA SETS. LOTS OF AVERAGES. THE DISCREPANCY BETWEEN SELF-JUDGMENT AND OUTSIDE OPINION. IT'S FUN.
AND. I didn't realize that last night was episode 2 of Glee, so I have that downloading now, and I'll be downloading Vampire Diaries because Julia wants to see it and since I knew I would be downloading it I didn't watch it because commercials are lame. xD And I don't have class tomorrow, so I can stay up watching TV all night if I want to (which I don't, but I could, at least until 2 or 3)
And tomorrow I am going to be making alfredo sauce from scratch for dinner. :D Chicken and broccoli alfredo, hells yes.
