1. What is your favourite board game and why?
SCRABBLE. Always and forever, Scrabble, because I kick ass at it and it's a lot of fun. I own a deluxe set, it just isn't in my possession at the moment. I have been trying and failing to get it back every time I've been back to Plattsburgh since I moved to Auburn.... but it doesn't really matter because nobody in my family would play with me anyway.
2. The world is sending a pod out into space for aliens to find: what 5 things (art, music, etc..) do you think should be on it?
With data transfer being what it is these days, we could theoretically send the entire Library of Congress into space pretty easily.... but that's a lot of junk in there, lol. I would want to send Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie, all the series of Star Trek, Van Gogh's Starry Night paintings, the collected works of Isaac Asimov, and The Princess Bride.
3. If you could bring back one tv show for one more season, what would it be and what would you want to happen on it?
Pushing Daisies. I would want real resolution to all the storylines, not the hasty "and this is how they lived happily ever after" wrapup from the last episode. Mostly, I want to know what happened once Lily and Vivian found out that Chuck was alive again.
4. What is one place on Earth you would never want to visit, and why?
I am perfectly happy never visiting the Middle East. I don't do well in the heat, or with the chance of bombs going off. I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons to go there.... but there are a lot of good reasons not to go, and I think I side with those.
5. Do you have a favourite BPAL scent? If you do, what is it?
My favorite BPAL scent is Dorian. It's so gentle and comfortable. I don't care that it's a men's scent, I love it.
I am officially out of cards already. xD That was fast. Now I just have to fill them out and buy stamps.
I should do homework or study or something like that, but I am so tired. There's really no good reason for me to be so tired, but I am. I might go lie down and read for a while. (for pleasure, not for school. if I read for school that would put me to sleep.)

1. Spock Prime or Reboot Spock and why?
Original flavor Spock, for sure. I love ZQ, but he's just not Nimoy, and there's no way he can really match what Nimoy brought to the character. I fell in love with Spock when I was 14, and you never forget your first Vulcan. xD
2. What is the first TV show you loved as a child?
I was always a big fan of the PBS standards: Sesame Street, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, 321 Contact. Not so much Reading Rainbow, surprisingly for me. Definitely Wishbone though. On Nickelodeon, I think the first thing I loved was Noozles, which I just found out is actually anime that was translated over for Nick in 1988. So I was an anime fan when I was three years old! When I got a little older, I loved Sailor Moon and the Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
3. Where do you want to visit most in the world and why?
Frankly, I'm too fucking scared of a plane to go anywhere that isn't in the USA or Canada. I'd be too miserable of the prospect of having to get back on the plane to enjoy myself wherever I went. I'd like to visit Seattle and LA and San Francisco, but I'd have to go by train. Why there? Because they're cool places, natch.
4. If you were on a deserted beach, what three things would you want with you?
A laptop, a satellite modem, and a solar power converter, so I could let people know that I was stuck on a deserted beach and could they please come pick me up now? And I'd have something to do while I waited to be rescued. xD
5. How did you come up with the name Butcher for your cat?
My roommate really came up with it. She was obsessed with the drummer for The Academy Is, Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek, and he was such a cute little fuzzball that the irony of the name stuck it to him. His name is actually The Butcher on all of his vet documents, his rabies form, all of that legal stuff, and on his collar tag. I named the second cat we got Minerva, because she looked like McGonagall in cat form. We didn't keep the cats we named, and I'm perfectly happy with that, because Butcher is clever and Minerva was never all that bright. I prefer having a smart cat.
I am really trying to do my botany homework but it is such a drag. :( Plants suck, I don't want to know all this crap about them, I just want to eat them or wear them or smoke them or whatever the use is for that particular species. I'm happy being ignorant, okay? The nitrogen cycle is the exact opposite of enthralling.

Would anyone be interested in helping me polish up a Big Bang Theory fic?

Jason Derulo - Whatcha Say
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
Mmmm whatcha say,

Mmmm whatcha say,
that it's all for the best?

Mmmm whatcha say?
that it's just what we need
you decided this
whatcha say?
Mmmm what did she say?
Go on, give them both a listen. Your mileage may vary, naturally, but I like it.
