Does anyone else get weird mixed signals from their bodies when they're really tired? My overtired signal is feeling like I need to pee even when I've just gone. It makes me twitchy, I really hate the feeling, and there's nothing I can do about it except get some sleep, which means I am stuck ignoring the persistent and mistaken call of nature for hours on end. It's ridiculous.
Anyway. I got my midterm from DAT, which I'm going to do as soon as I watch this episode of Supernatural (in glorious 720p, which Arthur could never handle on his best days!), and then I have the application for Phi Theta Kappa to fill out, and the interview for it on Monday after DAT.
Speaking about DAT. Guess what we learned about today. If you guessed "ten minutes about characteristics about children of alcoholics and 40 minutes about your teacher's alcoholic sister", you must be psychic and you also win the prize. The prize is, you didn't have to sit through that pointless class. There is a class in which learning mostly about alcoholics is appropriate, it's actually called "alcohol" and it's Health 101, and if I wanted to know how to date the child of an alcoholic (not even joking, that was one of the slides today) I would have taken that. I am taking this class because I am interested in the effects of drugs, including alcohol... none of which I have actually received any instruction about.
I will continue to be bitter about this class until I no longer have to wake up at 9 am to go to it. So another couple weeks.
You know, I am totally in love with this laptop. I have never played Farmville so smoothly. xD And I even like Windows 7. I have yet to figure out all the tricks, but it's pretty and it works well and that's all I can really ask of an operating system. My one quibble is that the power light is really bright, so I need to cover it up when I go to bed or it shines all night and bothers me. (This is not what kept me up last night but it was a factor.)
Oh my god.
