I just had an excellent dream, full of action and adventure... the only catch is,
- Mood:
confused
First, my copy of Bending the Willow arrived today. :D I just finished reading Changes, so I'll be focusing on it starting tomorrow.
Secondly, Twitter win: SherlockLOLmes and FMLJwatson. I have been thoroughly entertained this afternoon.
Now, I have to see to the rest of the to do list... which means either doing a 45 minute podfic or washing the kitchen floor. Neither of these things are conductive to reading the backlog of fic I have open right now. Um... yeah, my priorities are skewed heavily toward clearing my tabs.

- Music:Lenka - Trouble Is A Friend
Mumford and Sons - Roll Away Your Stone
Roll away your stone, I’ll roll away mine
Together we can see what we will find
Don’t leave me alone at this time,
For I'm afraid of what I will discover inside
Cause you told me that I would find a hole,
Within the fragile substance of my soul
And I have filled this void with things unreal,
And all the while my character it steals
Darkness is a harsh term don’t you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see
Mumford and Sons - White Blank Page
A white blank page and a swelling rage, rage
You did not think when you sent me to the brink, the brink
You desired my attention but denied my affections, my affections
But tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
Oh tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
Lead me to the truth and I will follow you with my whole life
Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man
tremble for yourself, my man,
you know that you have seen this all before
tremble little lion man,
you'll never settle any of your score
your grace is wasted in your face,
your boldness stands alone among the wreck
learn from your mother or else spend your days biting your own neck
but it was not your fault but mine
and it was your heart on the line
i really fucked it up this time
didn't I, my dear?
Mumford and Sons - Thistle and Weeds
Spare me your judgements and spare me your dreams
Cause recently mine have been tearing my seams
I sit alone in this winter clarity which clouds my mind
Alone in the wind and the rain you left me
It's getting dark darling, too dark to see
And I'm on my knees, and your faith in shreds, it seems
Corrupted by the simple sniff of riches blown
I know you have felt much more love than you've shown
And I'm on my knees and the water creeps to my chest
But plant your hope with good seeds
Don't cover yourself with thistle and weeds
Rain down, rain down on me
Look over your hills and be still
The sky above us shoots to kill
Rain down, rain down on me

- Music:Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
I haven't updated my "about me" post in almost as long as it takes to gestate a baby, so I'm going to redo that now. Not too much has changed, but enough has that it bears redoing.
