Apparently the moving situation is like so: we are not going to move until at least late August. We are waiting for my father's disability compensation to kick in, and then my mother is going to leave the Salvation Army. They won't tell me where they're planning on going then; I'm not sure if they'll stay in the area for long enough for me to finish at Wells or if they're going to move back to Massachusetts. They're probably going to end up back in MA sooner or later.

I would prefer for them to stay in central NY, but maybe that's just selfish of me because I would miss them too much if I couldn't see them every month.

Also, despite the moving thing, I am definitely looking into getting a rat for my birthday. I'm having a really hard time finding local breeders though. I'd really love a Russian blue rat to match my cat, but I'm probably going to have to settle for a hooded. I definitely do not want a white one.

I really shouldn't be wasting time making an LJ post, I have 10 pages to write by noon.
