So this shirt exists now. I want it, but I can wait until the next time Threadless has a sale. And I do need to go through my t-shirts and get rid of some of them. Would anybody be interested in buying a Serenity shirt?
I had a fantastic weekend. Shane and Amber arrived and we played Scrabble and baked cherry squares and made a delicious pizza and I found a wine I can actually drink, it's called Moscato, and we went to the drive-in and saw Green Lantern (which SUCKED, it was SO BORING) and The Hangover Part 2, which was actually pretty funny. After Amber left, Shane and I watched X-Men, X2 and Iron Man and baked another berry pie and made curry. I feel it is my duty to expose my girlfriend to superhero movies she hasn't seen.
This morning we watched the last half of Up and two episodes of Sanctuary, which I had never seen before and now I know who some of these people I read podfic about are. xD And canoodled on the couch. After Shane left I mowed half of the backyard, Julia did the first half.
My parents should be home in about ten minutes. The house is orderly, there is pie, and the only remnants of the weekend are the empty wine bottles in the recycling bin-- oh and I think a couple of cans of Guinness in the fridge, I wonder if my dad will want those.
Have people seen this? I can't believe that Wallace seriously doesn't get what Jon Stewart does.

SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 85 films, you have no life. Mark the ones you've seen. There are 239 films on this list. Copy this list, post to your LJ and paste this as a note. Then, put +'s next to the films you've seen, add them up, and use your number as the header.
So we all know that
This combined with being outed has left me with basically nothing left to worry about for the summer and nothing to hide from my parents. The only thing on my mind now is this job at the library, and I'm not going to stress out over it, either I'll get it or I won't.
Well, except for the inevitable conversation where I actually have to talk to my mother about the fact that I have a girlfriend, but she hasn't brought it up yet, so I'm not going to be the one to broach the topic. I'm not going to stress out about that either.
So, lacking anything more pressing on my mind, I'm diving right back into X-Men: First Class fanfiction (with the option to read older stuff at some point because I ship it at any age), and maybe tomorrow I will start rereading Rant, which I just got back in the mail from Sabrina, and I do love to reread Palahniuk during the summer. If I can find a copy of Invisible Monsters I might reread that one too... and I think I gave my copy to Julia, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a copy.
