Today my classes were boring, but after class I got in a car with Shane and Phillip and McKenna and Meg and we all went to Ithaca to see Jonathan Coulton and They Might Be Giants. The concert was AMAZING. This is the second concert in a row I've been to where I went for the opening act more than the headliners, and JoCo didn't disappoint. He started with Mr. Fancypants and it just got more awesome from there. TMBG I don't really know that many songs by, but they played all the ones I knew already, and a lot of things I'm going to have to download, and they were just very entertaining.

Now I am going to have to get most of a paper done before I can go take a shower and pass out... and then wake up early in the morning and finish the paper, finish reading a book, and watch a movie. I don't think I'm going to get all of them done... the paper is the most important, then the movie, the book I will finish if I possibly can but I won't worry too much if I can't.

Tomorrow: Work, class, picking up the packet for poetry writing, choir, changing the rat cage. Probably also laundry and writing my thesis.

The good thing about spending so much time around my crush is that the crush is becoming slightly less debilitating. I'm still prone to completely inappropriate flights of fancy, but it's not all I can think about any more, which is better. I'm pretty sure nothing is going to make me like him less short of him completely breaking character and insulting me deeply and personally... so I'm just going to do my best to stop staring at him when he can possibly notice me doing so, and be there as a friend if he needs me, and be satisfied with that. I can be satisfied with that. And if I tell myself that enough times, I might start to believe it.
