1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
I gave Michele the smiley-face hat for her birthday, and she loved it. :D
The cake turned out okay. I brought a can of cherries, not cherry pie mix like for making cherry squares, but dark sweet cherries... and Michele rinsed them. x.x? So we just layered those between two cakes and frosted it all. It was yummy, but my stomach was turned by the shot of 151 that George goaded me into taking. I don't think I've ever been that unpleasantly drunk on just one shot before, but man, it made me nauseous and woozy pretty instantly.
And then I got to hear all about Kelly's boy problems before I came home. -_- I don't get paid enough to be her shrink. Hell, I don't think a professional would get paid enough.
Anyway. Cold, tired, ill, sleep now.

Contrecoup, on the rebound
Contrecoup hurt me again
And the second was worse by
far than the first
'Cause it made me limerent
1. How far are you willing to go for a thrifting opportunity? What's the best thing you've scored locally?
2. If you could move anywhere in the world, but you'd have to live in an apartment slightly smaller than the one you've got now, and you couldn't take your cats... would you do it? If so, where would you move and who would you bestow your kitties on? xD
3. When did you first realize that you loved music? Are you embarrassed now by bands you loved when you were younger?
4. In ten years, where do you want to be in life, in your career, and in the world?
5. What's the best advice you've ever been given? What do you think is the best advice you've ever given out?
1. If I am going somewhere that I haven't been before, I take some time to search the net to see if there are any good thrifting locations. Locally, I think my long sleeved black t-shirt made in France and my overalls have been the best local scores lately.
2. I don't think I could do it. I lived in a roach infested apartment just so I could have Oliver. If I absolutely had to, I would go to London, Minneapolis, or Portland.
3. I think I loved it as soon as I popped outta the womb. I am not embarrassed by what I listened to, but I think that I did have some questionable taste (think Technotronic!)
4. In ten years I will be 41. I hope that we have a cozy home full of children, cats, music, good food, good friends, and fun. I just hope to have a "big girl job" by then, one that won't define me as a person, but will help to pay the bills.
5. Mark always tells me when I am thinking everyone is out to get me, that I am not that important. Sounds harsh, but it helps me to put things in perspective. I sometimes need to realize that people aren't always focusing on hurting me or talking about me. As for advice I have given, I dunno. I hope that any advice I give works at least a little bit.
:)
I think that's some excellent advice as long as it's not taken to total perspective vortex levels!
A++!
...long story.
what do you do with all that booty? What's the role you would want most as what will be considered your breakout performance?2. What do you regret least about high school?
3. I'm going to list some forms of entertainment, you tell me what in each type was the most influential for you: a) album, b) book, c) tv show, d) movie, e) script without accompanying recording or performance
4. Would you rather lose the ability to act, or the ability to sing?
5. In five years, what do you want the world to be like? Personally or on a wider scale.
2. If you could only remember one five-minute span out of the past year, what would you save?
3. You said that you believe strongly in God. Does that go along with a certain religion, or is it a personal conviction? I'm interested in people's beliefs; please tell me about yours.
4. Which would be more disappointing: finding out that a girl's red hair was dyed, or her accent was fake? Or in a more general sense, what do you consider important in a person?
5. What's your favorite virtue? How about your favorite vice? Favorite flavor of ice cream?
2- when i visited my family after not seeing them for 6 months. the excitement to see me was just.....amazing.
3- it's a personal conviction, but i was raised Baptist. i follow my own convictions and have my own personal relationship with God. i don't go to church though. i just can't face the judgment or the hypocrisy. which seems like a cowardly thing for me, but hey i can live with it as long as i can sleep in on Sunday.
4- it would be disappointing if i found out the accent was fake. dyed hair is awesome. the reason is because hair and hair dye are more of a light cosmetic factor, while when someone fakes an accent, they're trying to be someone else entirely. why fake where you're from?
5- honesty is a great virtue. i have to be able to trust people. my personal favorite vice? of mine? i don't really know. i like that i smoke pot, even though that might make me a bit of a slacker.
oh and cookies and cream.
It's not cowardly to avoid church. Hypocrisy and judgment don't belong in a house of worship, and it should be a thing of joy, not one of boredom, to spend time with God and people you choose to fellowship with. (I was raised in the Salvation Army, haha.)
I don't think weed or cookies and cream are vices. I think they're wonderful parts of the world! :D
