I did my good deed for the day! \o/ After helping my mom rake the yard, I went across the street and raked the yard of an 88-year-old lady. Her yard was way prettier, all the fallen leaves gold instead of shriveled brown. Nothing gold can stay, but those leaves were making an effort. Bless.

Butcher apparently loves roofs. He jumped out Julia's window and prowled around, watching us rake, sprawling in the sun, and then (thankfully, I wasn't sure he could) launched himself back in through the window. My cat is a fucking lunatic. :D
