dance me to the end of love

femmealunettes: (feeling uncomfortable)
Just pulled down the tarot cards and gave myself a reading.

It seems like dreaming isn't going to help me, but neither will new thoughts.

It feels like my dear cards just told me to accept mundanity for my life.

This is not the right way to do things...

on the upside, the quicky one-two-three 2 Swords, 3 cups, 8 sticks. Off balance, party in good company, defending yourself. Giving in to the ambien undertow. Thought it might bring clarity; didn't at all.

Anyone has a pack of tarot cards and wants to read me up, I'd be grateful. (correllations, and that stuff.)

I have a pack of tarot cards, but I have no idea how to use them. I can tell a useless anecdote about them, but that's not at all helpful, is it?

How did you learn?

I learned by a combination of studying the card meanings while I wasn't using them, and (don't laugh) just kind of listening to them and feeling out what they meant in their position and in relation to the other cards in the spread. I used to do a lot of work with them in high school; I hardly take them out but a few times a year now. While I was learning I was told NOT to use the little booklet to interpret... in fact, my teacher took it away from me...

I've had the same pack for... I want to say almost eight years. I was given them by a friend who owned them, and said that they felt like they actively didn't want to work with her... I took to them as soon as they were in my hands. ♥

Shuffle them all for a few minutes each, see which one feels best in your hands. :)
