According to the Amish belief - no. Photos are not allowed - but it's not the photos themselves. It's the face. It has to do with how 'god made us in his image' and 'worshiping idols'. There are no drawings of faces, their dolls do not have faces, photos taken of their faces are seen as disrespectful and are offensive, etc. because they believe it is creating an 'idol'.

Right. That might be more information than what you were looking for. But all that being said, I am confused as to why someone would be taking their photos...
