attention span, i can not has

femmealunettes: (here. no okay not here at all. : Cassie)
Okay, I need quick things that can fulfill my twitchy attention span this afternoon. To that end, I am offering up ficlets or mini-tarot readings.

Challenge me to a specific comment_fic Heroes prompt, I'll take the first five I think I can do. (even if they're my prompts, which I wanted other people to fill :P )

First five people to give me a concern will get a three-card spread.

Now, I am going to watch last week's Kings, and stop whenever I get bored to do one of these things. xD

Mini tarot!

I want to know what tarot thinks about me getting a dog.

You've needed some kind of pick-me-up... consider how much work a dog would be, and if you decide to go for it, make sure you take expenses into account.

And, coming from me, get a pound puppy! Mutts are the best things ever. ♥

Um -- I'm concerned about money?

YOUR ICON TERRIFIES ME D:

While I was shuffling, the Ten of Wands popped out of the deck. This indicates a block in your path, probably an unexpected one.

You've been holding an uneasy balance on the money front, and you're trying to get it straightened out now but things are kind of messy, huh? Keep your eyes open, don't let yourself get overwhelmed, and you should be able to keep a handle on what you need to get by.

D: I'm sorry! I've only had two reactions to it -- love and fear.

Thank you for the read, it's what I've expected.

A CHALLENGER APPEARS.

Also, Dani, tell me what I can do to make my parents stop fighting. .__.

KEEP THOSE THINGS OUT OF MY JOURNAL

I DO NOT HAVE AN APPROPRIATELY TERRIFIED ICON.

Holy wow, you are the first person I have pulled The Magician for in a LONG time. Do you have a lot of sway between them? Because that is a fuck-off powerful card to have.

The cards say that you can function as a team, but there has to be clear communication happening. idk what the problem is, but try to mediate a discussion. If it's something that can be planned out, make a plan; if it's something that needs a schedule, make a schedule, but you got a card of serious cooperation and teamwork.

And in the future, partying. No, seriously, the card has dancing and drinking and rejoicing, so I'm going to say this will turn out well, you just have to be willing to get in there and make them listen to each other and to you.

Thank you love. I'm gonna try. <3

(Also, hooray for partying? Idk why I would though. XD)

It is good news. I just hope I'm as good a negotiator as your cards say I am. *hug*

I gave up drinking for lent and I'm wondering whether I should change my ways when I start up again and cut down?

From a non-mystical point of view, it is never a bad thing to cut down on drinking. Up until my bottle of (delicious, delicious) amaretto, I've been sober since New Year's. Oh wait, no, I had three Mike's spread out over two days. xD

Now, the cards...

You were thinking ahead when you gave it up, weren't you? Some part of you knew that you'd be dealing with this question by the end of Lent. The present card basically says that you're really unsure of where to stand on it, you're still making your decision... you aren't sure if it'll work out. The final card is honesty-- you have to be blunt with yourself. Do YOU think you need to cut down? Be candid and realistic, think it through, and then abide by your decision.

Thankyou! Yes that's entirely accurate, I've been dithering. I think I am going to cut down but I don't think I need to.

BTW that icon is hot!

Even if you don't think you need to, imagine how many calories you'll save by cutting back! xD I swear that I've lost weight since moving here because I'm not putting back a quarter-liter of Captain Morgan every weekend now!

Well see, I haven't had a drink for six weeks, no chocolate and no crisps either, and I haven't lost a pound! And I don't actually feel any better either, but I'm sure there are benefits XD

Daaamn, woman. I gave up liquor and weed (unwillingly) and cigarettes (sort of by choice) at the beginning of the year (with a two month head start), but if someone asked me to give up chocolate I would laugh in their face! xD

Well I gave up chocolate and crisps last year and found it relatively easy so I thought this year I would give up booze and give myself a real challenge. But it's been quite easy too. Maybe next year I will give up slash...

LOL Just kidding, I'd rather give up breathing
