Is AmazonFail still a big deal? I haven't heard a lot of recent kerfuffle. Anyhow, the claim that it's 'a glitch' that started this all is bullshit, obviously. This is annoying, because my parents offered to get me a Kindle 2 for my birthday, and it would have been useful, but they ain't getting money from me now.

Star Trek release pushed forward... All of five hours. So you can see the movie at 7pm on Thursday instead of 12:01 am Friday. Oh well, I still have to wait for the matinee.

If you put your life in God's hands, you're less likely to accept when it's your time to go... religious belief linked to desire for aggressive treatment in terminal patients. You'd think that when God says "Yo, time to come on home" you'd have a DNR on file, right? It makes a person wonder how badly these people want to get to heaven, is all.
