breaking up is hard to do

femmealunettes: (at the end of everything : Hiro&Ando)
As far as TV tonight went, Chuck made me happy up until the very end when it made me literally scream at the TV in outrage, Heroes bored me to the point of changing the channel, and Big Bang Theory made me giggle and I have one very specific icon I need to make from this episode.

I'm starting to think that maybe I just shouldn't bother with watching Heroes next week. I mean, when I can't muster up the honest interest to follow an on screen conversation, I think it's time for a trial separation. If I hear it's getting better (and I seriously doubt I'll hear that) I'll tune back in... but considering I only care about what happens with Hiro, Ando and Mohinder now, it's probably for the best for me to stop while I'm just bored and not actively annoyed by the show. I've been halfassing my fandom participation for a while now anyway. :/

I found out today that my aunt in Seattle had a miscarriage. Of all my relatives, she and her husband are probably the only ones that should reproduce, and they're the ones that haven't yet. She was so excited to be pregnant... it's really a sad thing. :(

I did absolutely jack shit today. I can't afford to do nothing tomorrow, too. I have too many things that need to be finished in the near future. My goals for tomorrow: get to my appointment with Alice, do my Western Civ paper, do one of the five podfics I have to do (probably [livejournal.com profile] karaokegal's first, since it's the fandom I'm least used to), hit the Wii, download and watch the Fringe that was aired tonight, and if I have time, finish reading Conrad's Fate. ..and I should probably do some laundry too, but that's less important.

Finally, a meme:

If you could have me write a story specifically for you, what would it be like? Fandom? Original? Characters/character types, pairing, genre, plot...

What's your ideal fic from me?

Hmmm. Definitely Fandom.

How about a little Supenatural/Life On Mars crossover where Sam and Dean (and the Impala) are transported to 1970's Manchester and bump into Sam and Gene (and the Cortina). Sam and Sam would be the bestest of research buddies, and Dean and Gene would fight/argue over who had the better car. :P
