But it IS a ticky box, because ticky boxes do not actually EXIST in physical reality. A ticky box is a collection of pixels displaying colors in such a way as to form a little square that you check off by clicking with your mouse. So although you could declare that it isn't a ticky box, but the visual impression of a ticky box, I would argue that that is, in fact, all that a ticky box is, and were it something else entirely, the nature of ticky boxes would have to be redefined.
