They're black silk Chucks with pink embroidered flowers. I wore these to my aunt's wedding. :D I don't get to wear them often... or at all in the winter... but I think they're the prettiest shoes I own that are comfortable enough to wear for any length of time. I hate heels.

Butcher lying on all my mom's quilting stuff. He likes to help by getting fur on the fabric.

He looks awfully self-satisfied.

Oreo wants to get to know Gerard Butler better. As in, how he tastes.

He's kind of cute, for an iguana.

She is the plumpest of felines. Like a furry bowling ball.

Only staying still because she thought I was going to feed her.

This mutt has been in bed with me every day for the past week when I woke up. She curls up right behind my knees.

I still think that Sadie is evil.

Tiny, furry, smelly evil.

Xena is also smelly, but she's a good dog.

Yeah, you can see the screen of the window... that's the view from the window at the head of my bed.

My east-side bookshelf, top two shelves. Dresden Files, Star Trek, most of my favorite TV series, and the Dexter books.

East-side, bottom shelves. Behind all those DVDs are the Sookie Stackhouse books, all my poetry books, all my Diane Duane collection, the Harry Potter books, all my Garth Nix collection, and assorted other YA fantasy.

My west-side bookshelf. Top shelf is Neil Gaiman and all my comics, second shelf is Robin Hobb and most of my favorite movies.

West-side shelves three and four. Assorted DVDs and my non-series sci-fi/fantasy.

My DVD tower, including my LGBTQ cinema collection and some of my most favorite movies, and my Coen Brothers collection.

The black/red/grey shirt....

...and the black and blue shirt. I like collared shirts.
And now, random other stuff, including most of my family members and the place I spend a few hours every other night or so.

Although here is my bed, with all the new pretty I've put up on the walls lately.

Every flat surface in my room is full of stuff. There's the window you got the view out of.

My amazing box o' Lush. :D

And the tub where I have been wiling away so many deliciously-scented evenings. I just used half the Phoenix bubble bar last night, it was heavenly.

My dad, taking a break from Facebook to strike a thoughtful pose.

My mom, taking a break from Quantum Leap to strike a silly pose.

Rachael has anger management issues.

But she can be sweet sometimes.

Do you see why I tell her she needs to stop tanning?
And that's it for the picspam. If you want to see anything else, feel free to ask. :D

if my eyes are as big as bowling balls
and my cat is as big as a bowling ball
...does that mean my eyes are as big as a cat?
And every time I have describer your cats for someone else, I always compare Oreo to a bowing bowl. She is compact. Butcher, on the other hand, is like a small panther.
P.S. Robin Hobb has come out with a new series, if you're interested! Focusing on the Rain Wilds. :)
Oooh, I AM interested! I'm going to have to look it up!
When I had my own room I had vintage travel posters and posters from old movies and pictures of places I'd been and stuff I made in art classes and a giant Patti Smith over my bed. I kind of miss that, actually.
:3
I've seen a few other pics of Butcher, and he always looks so plumped up and pleased with himself. So cute!!
Also, I'm not sure if I've ever said this, but that fact that your Iguana is name Gerard Butler = <3
