...so I've seen my country get completely spanked in every single game they've played so far. Watching the ladies' game against Canada this afternoon was physically painful to watch, they gave it up after being five points down on the seventh end. I watched Great Britain hand the boys their asses while having Chinese food with my dad just now. I'd rather be watching the Canadian teams, they're both undefeated as far as I'm aware.
It's all Canada's fault that I like curling anyway. We used to get a Montreal station when we lived in Plattsburgh. I spent many a Sunday afternoon on the couch watching people screeching "Sweeeeeeep!" at each other. Good times, good times.
I've had a raging headache all day long, and I was going to go soak it out in the tub except Rachael called dibs on the bathroom. Lame. She got into a screaming fight with Julia today when Julia said something to the effect of Rachael's boyfriend is going to die because he's Marine infantry. Rachael punched a wall and either sprained or broke something in her wrist. I wish Julia wouldn't be so callous, it would take no effort on her part to NOT say things like that.
My mother will be home in an hour. :D I've missed her so much. She went shell collecting while she was on the beach, and she said she'd let me have my pick of the lot. Yay, shells. Not as good as being on the beach myself, but any little thing will make me happier. What I would give to actually hit a sunny warm beach right about now... I am so tired of winter already.

Sorry, it's unusual for us to hear about one of our teams winning at anything XD
