Oh my goodness, there is so much blank space in my livejournal layout now. I can't start making 1600px wide layouts, that would drive me bonkers on my desktop. Does anybody know how to make layouts that work with percentages of screen width rather than absolute widths? I may have to give up on having headers and work with background images instead.

Seriously this screen is insanely huge. 1600x900. It's just... incredibly big. I can't wait to watch a DVD on this baby. It makes me happy in my geek spot. It's just all-around massive, I don't think I've ever seen a laptop with a number pad on the keyboard before, it's almost excessive!

I've already started getting rid of the bloatware (buh-bye Norton, seeyalater PowerDVD) and installing my much-loved applications (hello Firefox and Semagic!) Next up, Photoshop and iTunes.


I made three fairly well-thought-out posts about Blake in my English Lit discussion board. That's about all I want to say about him. I haven't even read the rest of the module yet, and the essay is due on the 29th... eep.

but I don't want to worry about that, I want to play with my amazing new toy! ♥
