Ithaca is my new favorite city in all the world; it brings me my favorite musicians affordably and nearby. ♥ I definitely should have considered going there for college instead of staying at PSU like the pansy-ass little girl I used to be. Alas.


Back to doing botany homework now... but that was a wonderful surprise!

I finally finished reading Jacinto's Remnant. Feels like it took me a month to do it.... I really like the world that got built in Gears of War, and the novels just make me like it more. I miss sitting around and watching Dennis and George or Kevin play the game.

Weird, right? I'm a game watcher, not a player. And I don't have an XBox anyway. xD It was messing with my perception on Botany walks; my teacher would say "honeylocust" as in the tree and I'd think "Locust? Shit, throw a frag!" I fail at reality checks.

Now I can go back to Robin Hobb and finish the Tawny Man trilogy. I have Psychology for Screenwriters out from the library but I'll probably start that after all of my tests next week... I have Botany and Forensics both on Monday, sickeningly enough. At least the Forensics test is going to be all multiple-choice and matching questions, that one will be no problem. I'm kind of worried about Botany because plants are tough. :(

The psych tests, I don't even know about those, neither teacher really has said much about how he tests but I'm expecting lots of writing.

I don't watch So You Think You Can Dance really, but I was in the room while my sister and mom were watching it, and this adorable blond guy with the best pants ever made the cut, so I might tune in because he was intriguing. It's not the same watching it with family as watching it with friends... I miss Amanda and George and Michele. Sigh.

What is this, media intake is making me all mopey and wistful and nostalgic. Lame. At least Glee doesn't remind me of anyone, and that's on in fifteen minutes.
