WHY AM I SUCH A TERRIBLE PROCRASTINATOR?

Seriously I have a paper due in 17 hours and I'm not even done watching Brokeback Mountain yet let alone writing an ideological film review of it. (also since when do I blush watching sex scenes? my face was bright red watching them in that tent. what gives?) I'm trying to analyze it using queer theory and I just have no idea how to attack this yet.

And what have I been doing today besides watching the movie I need to write a paper about?

Well, I made my word count for Nano today and did a bit more (I'm up to 8,175), I played Echo Bazaar, and I read a bunch of Sherlock fanfiction.

YES I KNOW I'M ABSURD. I tried disconnecting from the internet. My computer connected itself again. MY COMPUTER WANTS ME TO PROCRASTINATE TOO.

I just have to be firm with myself. I don't get to go to dinner until I finish watching the movie. I don't get to go to sleep until I finish the paper. And I like food and sleeping, so I should get these things done.

...and not do a bunch of memes. >.>

And then tomorrow I have like three hours of French homework to do on top of writing the paper for Educational Psych.

And of course I wasted my entire weekend too.

Podbang 2010 is due on December 1st and someone claimed the one story I was going to do. So now I need to find another 20k story I like well enough to record.

I am really hating how petty I feel about being replaced as the Sherlock podficcer, but I'm not even any good compared to the person who's ruling the roost now anyways.

It was nice while it lasted. Now I'm going to go hit my head into a wall until something falls out that I can turn in to Dr. Lohn tomorrow morning.

Okay, I got this paper started, at the very least. I'm holding myself to 800 words, and she says she'll give us the chance to rewrite them as long as we get them in on time. So if it sucks I can do it over.
