I finished the paper. It's not good, but the syllabus promises us the opportunity to rewrite any paper that's handed in on time, and I emailed mine in twenty minutes ago. As long as she gets around to actually grading these (I'm about half sure she hasn't graded the first ones yet) I'll be able to get a better grade than the one I'm initially given, and that's fine by me.

The highlight of my day was printing out one of the Sherlock promo pictures and making myself a button for my purse. Now I can take Sherlock and John with me wherever I go ♥

Tomorrow I have another paper to write, four to five pages long, but this one will be easier because I've already done all the background work I need for it. I fully intend to be finished with it before I leave for SAGA at 8, and that means... well, shit, that means I'll be up doing French homework until midnight because my French teacher is a sadist who thinks I don't have any other classes. Tomorrow is going to be the day I fall behind on NaNo, I can tell already... and I've been doing so well up until this point!

Now I should really go to bed, but I'm not tired. Even after taking my pill I'm not tired.

Today did not get off to the start I wanted it to get.

Mostly because I got up just long enough to turn off my alarm clock and went back to sleep for another six hours.

Uh... oops?

Any my dreams weren't even particularly good ones, they were semi-post-apocalyptic and mostly involved me trying to find things and hit targets by rolling small metal balls. Although I was good at both those tasks. I'm pretty sure I was in a relationship with someone in the dream, but I can't even remember if they were male or female.

And now I have five hours to write a five page paper. I am really kicking myself in the ass for putting everything off so much, doubly so because I thought for some reason that this was due on Thursday and not Wednesday. It's okay, this one will be easier than the film review, because the research for it will not make me cry (seriously, Brokeback Mountain gets me right in the chest every time) and also I don't have to come up with any outside information, I just have to compare what I saw to what's explained in the textbook.

And also I will not be fucking around doing memes all day today instead of working on it, so I will finish it before 2 am.

I'm starting to rethink my claims that I'll have this paper done by 2 am; it's been two hours and the only thing I've got down is the title of the paper.

I'm going to go get dinner, and then come back here and focus. And if I don't finish it, I don't get to go to SAGA or Sex Collective, and tonight we're talking about oral sex in Sex Collective, so I don't want to miss that.

This focusing thing is really hard to do, and I am really talented at wasting time.
