Eventually I will stop talking about Kink Bingo, I promise. Just... not in the next couple of days.

I decided I'm going to take the second-from-the-right line and go for the text-free achievement, so if anyone has a really good non-penetrating sex toys story or a scars/scar appreciation story, toss a link my way! The stories that have been suggested so far have been fantastic. (Just not scarification, that falls into the category of 'things that make me lightheaded in a bad way to think about'. I have no problem with the sight/thought of my own blood, but other peoples' blood bothers me. Is that weird? It might be weird.)

I figure if worse comes to worst, I can write my own scar appreciation story that also fills another square, have the textual one for the other square and the podfic for the scars square. I mean, you just know Brock Samson is covered with scars, and I already have a couple of squares plotted out for Doc/Brock, it probably wouldn't be that hard to make it work.

So as my plans stand, I'm going for six achievements (bingo in five fandoms, tiny fandom bingo, text-free bingo, rare characters bingo, fat characters bingo, and possibly either moresomes/poly bingo or multi-media bingo), and once I make those I can think about going for a blackout. Out of 25 squares, I only have 7 left to plan something for, and one of those is the wildcard so I can do whatever I please for it.

If I go for the multi-media bingo, I'm probably going to have to do fanart, which is scary because my art is bad and I don't want people to laugh at me. Or I could try to do a picspam/icon set, but nothing is really jumping out at me that would be good for that. I definitely can't do a vid. I might be able to do a recs set, I'd just have to go multifandom with it, but AO3 and Delicious make it pretty easy to find specific things. Yeah, maybe I should do a recs set.

So I went to the dentist yesterday and he told me I have a cavity. So I came back in today and the bastard drilled me twice! He didn't tell me I had one on the right side too! When he came at me with two swabs of topical I was like "Uh, what? Why are you going to needle me twice?" and he was all "oh yeah, uh, we should just get this one up here at the same time, okay?" WHAT. So I told him I didn't want novocain for the smaller one if I didn't have to have it, and he said fine, we could forgo it, but if I felt anything to let him know.

Well, it turned out that the little one actually went down to the middle layer of my tooth, so it was a pretty damn near thing, but I made it without the novocain. I was nervous as fuck toward the end there, let me tell you. Then he did the deep one on the left side... I got novocained three hours ago and I'm still kind of numb. But hey, I didn't feel a thing, so hooray for anaesthetic.

...dude, I just realised that anaesthetic is derived from aesthetic. HERP DERP.

Anyways. Julia is going to get the next part of her half-sleeve done tomorrow, and I'm thinking about asking how much my parenthetical ellipsis would cost and maybe getting it done then if it's cheap enough and quick enough. Though it should be really quick, it's two lines and three dots. I was going to wait until I finished my internship to get it, but I did so well this semester, I want to reward myself.

Okay, my plan for tomorrow goes like this: Record a Kink Bingo podfic, record a help_japan podfic, edit and post both of those, then start writing something for the right-hand column. If I was strict with myself I'd go in order, but I honestly think I'm going to need a little bit of time to work up to a dirty talk story, because for all I write pretty decent porn, my dirty talk is laughable at best. You'd think a person who makes a hobby of writing and reading aloud graphic sex scenes would be able to manage it better than that, but it's really pathetic. At least 500 words really isn't that much writing, I can fake just about anything for 500 words, with a few notable exceptions.

So tomorrow be expecting a Star Trek gen podfic and an Inception Arthur/Eames podfic.

I have to say, I'm really looking forward to my family going away for the weekend two weeks from tomorrow, because it is so much less stressful recording podfic when you know nobody's going to walk in on you and ask you what you're doing. I'm pretty sure I've been interrupted by every member of my family except my father while recording. Hell, my mother knows I do podfic, I've explained it to her, I just don't tell her what I'm reading.

Also, while I was discussing podfic with someone on Facebook a couple of nights ago, I actually went back and fixed my master list, so it's current until tomorrow. xD And I discovered that only about 1/3 of my podfics are R/NC-17/Mature/Adult, the majority of them are PG-13 or below. Well, I'll fix that by the end of this Kink Bingo round, never you fear. (No, that's a lie, to shift that to 50% I'd have to record 15 smutty stories, unless I start doing short pieces I'm never going to catch that up.)

In non-podfic, non-kink bingo news, I bit my lip while I was all numb from novocain and now it hurts like crazy. :(

My cat is a Fall Out Boy fan, which makes sense because I listened to them CONSTANTLY when he was a kitten. He was walking around my bedroom being a standoffish jerk while I was listening to Muse, but as soon as I put on FOB he came and curled up against my legs. Patrick Stump's got a voice to soothe the savage beast!

That's me and Julia... eh... maybe 14 or 15 years ago? She looks four or five in that picture, right? I think it was taken before we left Massachusetts, so she couldn't have been older than six, I was no older than twelve.
