Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts



1. My hair is just now long enough to put into pigtails, but it's not long enough for a ponytail yet.
2. I'm thinking about cheating and getting my next tattoo before finishing my internship. I mean, my GPA was awesome this semester, doesn't that deserve a reward?
3. I have basically lived off of fruit salad for the past couple of days. Not the canned stuff either, awesome fruit salad I made myself with cherries and strawberries and blueberries and grapes and apples and pears. I forgot peaches, I'll add them next time. Probably tomorrow.
4. I tried doing rainbows on my big toenails and they did not look very good. I think I need smaller brushes if I'm going to do it on my fingernails.
5. My rats keep making noises like they're trying to kill each other/being killed and it freaks me out every time.
6. My most listened to track of the past week is Pioneers by Bloc Party.
7. I can't sleep without a blanket, even if it's ridiculously hot.
8. Even though I'm not excited about the possibility of moving back to New Bedford, I am a little thrilled at the thought of living across the street from the Atlantic Ocean.
9. I really need to clean my room and I bet I'm going to find a lot of stuff I forgot I owned as I do it.
10. Some small masochistic part of me wants to try to do an all-Venture Brothers bingo for Kink Bingo. I am anxiously awaiting my card to see what I have to work with.

OH HELLS YES.

Now this is what I'm talking about.



I could... god, I could do pretty much any line on this card. I could do an X or a +. I COULD GET OVERAMBITIOUS AND GO FOR A BLACKOUT.

And you know what, I could probably actually do a Venture Brothers line and go for a couple of achievements as far as rare fandoms/characters go. Hell, I could focus on 21 and go for the fat character bingo. That last vertical line seems like it would work really well with henchmen. Or the X could work too.

SO PSYCHED ABOUT THIS CARD.

I have started soliciting permission to record stories for a few of my squares already (tentacles is only ever going to get podfic from me, and I'd really like to do this one Doctor Who suspension story) and I'm probably going to end up reading my own animal play story from last round to fill it this time around. I'm still brainstorming ideas for most of the squares, but I basically have that last line all blocked off to go for those achievements I was talking about.

And part of me is thinking, you know, I haven't finished writing fanfiction in a year, what makes me think I'm going to be able to do a half-dozen stories now? But part of me is thinking this could be really fun. (and a small part of me is saying that it doesn't matter because the number of people who'll read it I can probably count on one hand.)

So anyway... if anyone knows a good furry/plushie kink story I can read, I'm probably not going to be able to come up with anything for that one, which won't actually matter unless I do decide to go for the blackout. And in fact, I'm willing to do any square with podfic, if anyone has a special favorite story they really want me to record, just let me know and I'll ask the author. Unless you're the author and you want me to read your fic, in which case that simplifies the process.

Actually, I should really record those help_japan podfics before I start making plans for Kink Bingo. I'll do at least one of them tomorrow.

It drives me up a fucking wall when people lock their work when rules for a challenge specifically state your links have to lead to unlocked content. Or when people link to locked content, period. If you're going to link to it, make sure people can fucking see it, otherwise you're just being an asshole.

How the hell am I supposed to get ideas when the previous examples are all things I'm not allowed to see?
