Okay, so I actually woke up at 4:30... it was a long night, okay, I got stuck in a book that wasn't even in book form, I read it on my computer. (It's okay, I own the book, I just wasn't patient enough to wait to get home and read it.) So now I'm all literarily shook up over the Dresden Files which seeped into my dreams and made things pretty bizarre let me tell you, although I think it also may have given me a kick in the pants about this sequel I've been having trouble with (yeah, I'm also thinking I need to re-read the Young Wizards books to do it right, and I can guarantee maybe two people will actually give a damn for the research but it is what I need to do), and I am just totally not onto the second Sherlock Holmes compilation I bought here.

Too many words is the problem here. Too many words and not enough time for all of them.

Anyway speaking about the sequel I got a bit of feedback for I Know It's Strange last night and it made me preen in the middle of an already pretty good night. :D It doesn't matter how long it takes, any kind of response to a story you loved writing is awesome. And the person referred to it as "a one-shot(?)" which is true. xD I should let her know there's a sequel in the works.

Today, though, I have a barbecue to go to. George Tyndall and Michele invited me out to Wallace Hill Road, so that should be fun, and really nice to get to see them. Rumor has it that George is going to put a ring on it pretty soon, I'm happy for Michele. :D I still have to figure out how I'm going to get those books to Hunter and Kenzie... I might have to resort to asking Amber to deliver them after I'm gone. :/

The little kitty keeps trying to make this LJ post for me, so I'm going to finish up and eliminate more instances of cat-like typing.
