I'm trying to come up with a list of things I want to do during the 11 days I'm in Plattsburgh.
-I want to play lawn golf with George and Michelle.
-I want to spend at least one afternoon with the Browns, and I specifically want to chase Kenzie around outside.
-I want to go to the Oxbow and maybe even jump off the lower cliff.
-I would really like to get laid, but there are complications to that I might not want to deal with, and that reminds me I need to make a filtered post later.
-I want to get stoned off my face with my brother, with Amber and Kevin, with Kelly, and with George. (I want to bring the pipe Julia got me in Virginia and break it in.)
-I would like to spend a little time with Kristin and maybe even see Minerva for the first time since May 2008. The cat probably won't even remember me but I'd like to see her anyways.
-I want to see Lacy and Thomas's new place.
-I want to watch somebody play Assassin's Creed 2, I'm not picky who.
-Ideally, I'd like to make it to Burlington one day, but I'm not expecting that to happen.
-I want to see a movie at the new theater because that place is nice-- I'm thinking Inception, because I promised my mother I would see Sorcerer's Apprentice with her.
-I want to have a coffee shake from Stewarts as close to daily as possible.
-I want to get chicken tikka masala from Karma and a bento box from Koto.
-I want to visit the Cornerstone Bookshop.
-I want to play beer pong with my brother as my partner, and I want to win.
-I want to get drunk on my birthday.
-I want to sit around a fire and shoot the shit with my friends.
Most of these are attainable goals. I know I won't get the entire list done, but it gives me a good place to start when I get there and say "what shall I do today?"
Now, I'm just waiting for the ambien to kick in. I'm in Rachael's room and this is the first time I've been comfortable temperature-wise in a couple of days now. It's going to be nice not waking up all sweaty, for a change. The drone of the A/C is going to bug me until the drugs drag me under, though.
- Mood:
excited

But as for little symbols that suggest writing -- well, here are some of my favorites: a quill, a candle flame (for ideas -- the ideas out there in the world, waiting to be grasped), an asterisk -- maybe even something in Netspeak, like *inspired!* (although that would be too big just to balance a simple symbol). Does any of that help?
I hope you have a great time! :)
