Yup! And none of us (us being me, his roommates, and my friends who regularly smoked weed with him) had any idea this was going on. Apparently he quit his job three weeks ago and has been lying to everyone about it since then, so maybe this burglary thing has only been happening since after I left, so it's okay that I had no clue, but he had everyone else fooled.

It would be hypocritical of me not to own up to my own brief period of lying to people and stealing things, but that was back in 2008 and I'm a better person now than I was then. Plus I only stole from stores, not from people. Petit larceny is not nearly the same thing as burglary. (for one thing it's only a misdemeanor.)

I think most people have taken something and then lied about it at least once or twice in their lives. I'm certainly not innocent of that. So that's not it. *hug* <3 But breaking into someone else's house or office and taking their stuff is just...really, really creepy. I think it's that that really makes me wince. Probably because, after having my laptop stolen, I know how awful and violated you feel afterwards.

I'm just really glad I had him mentally shelved as "potential fuckbuddy" and not "potential boyfriend", otherwise I would be a lot more upset by this than amused, which is what I am.

Most of my exes have indie cred in one way or another. This is the first one with criminal cred. I think I preferred the one who introduced me to college radio.

The kicker is, the felon was incredible in bed, the indie boys were mediocre-to-decent. xD

Crazy is always hot in bed, for real. In addition to the Mormon vampire boyfriend, I dated (VERY BRIEFLY) a guy who thought he was a dragon. I met him in the waiting room at the behavioral health urgent care. My decision making skills were not spectacular at the time, but he was smoking hot and awesome in bed. I REGRET NOTHING.
