After SAGA Mary and I shared a pint of Ben and Jerry's in the Express Cafe and talked for a while. I'm pretty excited to share a room with her next year, I think we'll get along just fine as long as I can sleep while she's on the computer. We might have to arrange the room in such a way that I don't get the light from her computer in my direction, but I'm sure we can figure something out. Also if I have a problem I can just talk to her in a way I couldn't just talk to Emi, so we won't reach the point where I'm like "I absolutely can't stand your face any more." I should probably talk to her about the potential of sneaking a rat onto campus, it really won't work if she's got a fear of rodents. I can't afford to get a rat until I know whether or not my family is being moved this year... but even if we do get moved, the move will be done by July, so I might get a rat for my birthday. I'm already starting to think about potential names. It really depends on the color of the rat... if it's tan or tan hooded, the chances it will be named Watson are very, very high.
I downloaded the whole Mountain Goats discography last night and I've been loading the albums in chronological order. There are a lot of short albums that were put onto larger albums later on in the exact same order, so I'm ending up with duplicates... I'm only up to 1994 and I already have 380 songs. I really don't know how many tracks the band has altogether. It's a big number, I know that much. Which is just fine by me because John Darnielle = ♥.
I should really be finishing this essay, but I'm fucking around on the internet instead. Just because I can technically put it off until tomorrow morning doesn't mean I SHOULD. Curse my procrastinatory tendencies.

Maybe it's lazy of me to want to go someplace where they speak English, but I think it would really be cool to go to London. It would be neat to see Ireland and Scotland too, but I've wanted to visit England for a long time now. I wouldn't want to move there, but I'd like to visit. I'd probably just end up doing all the standard touristy things, though.
In no particular order, taken from TV series, books and movies. All but one of these pairings I've loved for at least a year; some of them I've loved for over a decade. Unsurprisingly, the list is overwhelmingly slash, although there are two bisexual OT3s, one heterosexual couple, and one lesbian couple. There are a few pairings on here that I'm willing to bet very few people are aware that I like, but for the most part this is just an affirmation of pairings I'm already known for appreciating. Still, maybe my doing it will encourage other people to do it! I always enjoy seeing other people's ironclad OTPs.
